It's been stated many times that Troubas attitude has been called into question. Mostly his conditioning. Apparently went to Gary Roberts conditioning camp in the summer, dogged it bad, and there have been reports of a bad attitude. For me, I call it stereotypically American.

The question about our Ol is more about depth. We have low numbers and need more depth but hopefully that's coming. Maybe via draft, maybe via trade, and definitely via recruiting down south.

I caught pneumonia and a form of gastritis back in mid-Jan and have been scrapping it ever since, so I haven't had a drop of booze in nearly a month. Dion Phaneuf personified everything that was wrong with the Leafs. I have no doubts he'll help the Sens as a 3/4 D with no letter, but as the Captain of the Leafs, expected to be the #1 guy, and being paid like it......all kinds of wrong fit.

I like what Lawless was tweeting earlier about how Laurent may not go today. Asking price near 300k, apparently, and a lot of teams (obviously) balking at that. May not go until tomorrow when people can talk that down a fair ways...

Harris at the right price is cool, but I'm concerned as well about his age,at the price he's reportedly asking...

I just really hope they don't blow their load over-paying for Laurent. I would not be a fan of that. Pretty much anything else goes, tho...

THe thing about Ladd that sorta complicates things is it's hard to just outright deal your captain. It's not that it can't be done, obviously, but optically, it looks bad. Hopefully they're able to work something out, anyhow...
