#AlsMTL' centre @dominicpicard has announced his retirement. #CFL #LCF via @HerbZurkowsky1 I thought this was interesting, because Picard was saying that last year's poor play was about the Bombers and not his declining skills. There was an article on him a few days ago. He says all off-season was rehab, and he missed the offensive mini-camp remember, so this has been the first real football he's played in awhile. There's going to be some growing pains getting back into game shape again. I'm willing to give it time, 'cause he's got the Want-To, and all the physical tools are there...

It's a neat thing they're doing, for sure. They're announcing one at every home game this year, then there'll be one per year, each year after. Looking forward to seeing (debating) the selections going forward!

I was curious about this, too....if he's not ready to step in and play right off the hop, then I don't know if it's worth it...

I'm awfully tempted to.....worst case scenario, next year is a draft where we miss out on a dynamo and JSJ bolts for the NFL and stays as soon as he's able. Best case scenario, we win the GC this year and have a late pick anyhow, and JSJ stays here for years and years......

Hey greaves is far from awful. He's a quality NI Guard. But Mike is right... We essentially traded Greaves for Couture and that's a more than fair trade.

I hate to say it, but I wouldn't mind a guy like Chris Greaves, right about now...

Doesn't have to be another Canadian to play tackle. Find a Canadian Guard, kick out Daniels or whoever to Tackle...

I wanna see him back at his natural spot at RT and see if he can 1) Stay healthy, and 2) Play as well as they think he can in that position...

I still think Neufeld is a pretty good OL when he's healthy, but it *seems* like he just can't stay healthy...

The kid is a pure athlete, no question....but as a football player? I'm not sure. The physical attributes are so teasing to any football club..."if we could just teach him to be a football player!!"

He was pretty skinny (typical receiver size) last year at our camp. Woulda had to pack on a LOT of weight to play DE, I think...

Doesn't change the fact that Neufeld is hurt yet again...anyone else, not an issue....with him, it's another in a long list....

Neufeld with lower body injury but MOS says "expected back before the end of camp".....Cripes. If it's not one thing, it's another with Neufeld...just can't ever be 100% healthy...

Darvin Adams went down in a heap after making a nice grab...hasn't returned to the field since.

I saw a tweet that Pat Neufeld has been out the last couple days and I believe Johnny Adams (...or is it Johnny Patrick...?) as well. Other than that, sounds like a whole lotta teaching going on...
