  1. my head hurts from how hard my eyes just rolled....
  2. ewwwww..... anything from Half Pints and you've got yourself a deal.....
  3. in the statement from Harris and the club...
  4. Definitely makes me really sad. Taints all the good stuff around him, like the recent record that he broke.....all the hype about how good he's been. All the talk about MOP this year? Out the window completely. Just for optics sake, he'll get ZERO votes for awards at the end of the year...
  5. As long as you don't lose both games and derail your push for 1st place.....
  6. His comments are really interesting and he fully explains what happened. Makes sense to me. Sucks to give the Riders an excuse for the next couple of weeks, but not much you can do.
  7. Problem is he's a beat reporter for the Lions and a known homer. It's one thing for a homer to do colour but you can't be a PBP guy on a national broadcast...
  8. If we ever get back to all 1s on the field, watch out....
  9. No. They're going to try and win every week....period. This and only this.
  10. I really appreciate the breakdown on this...it's so weird to look at his motion, and almost seems like he's throwing darts. Pull straight back, push straight forward, release....so odd. But I'm not gonna sit here and say the guy can't be successful with it....
  11. OB pre-game talk was Harris vs Harris for the MOP at this point, and they all agreed it was Trevor over Andrew right now, but that's purely on stats. Irving said if he gets to 6k passing, it's hard to not give it to him because it's such a rare stat. But you're absolutely right....where the teams records are at in November will have a lot to do with it.
  12. watching the TSN Game Review highlight pack, I'm pretty sure a guy fell down on that run and JUST missed getting him after about 10 yards, and that was the difference. I don't wanna call it a fluke run, but.......it happens. Our Run D is insane this year.
  13. so much love for the Reilly and Harris signings in the offseason, but Jefferson might have been the best one....
  14. and Kongbo is basically the same guy......can you imagine the two of them next year, when Kongbo has a year of seasoning?? Cripes...
  15. bah......I can't get that tweet to load properly.
  16. Lol.........*waits for 17to85*................................lol................................
  17. Anyone else notice how whiny and pissy Harris was last night and how much it looked like Maas? Teams really do take on the personality of their HC, and it's yet another reason why I'm glad we have MOS...
  18. we got real lucky that Gray didn't get flagged there. He shoved a guy pretty good and could easily have been flagged, but they didn't, and his teammates got him off the field, and then when Hunter wouldn't let it go, and shoved a ref, he got the retaliation flag that will ALWAYS come....
  19. I never at any point in my life played any kind of organized football, and I feel like at least once a week Booch teaches me something new about the game and I'm very appreciative of this...
  20. I was gonna ask about that, actually, because I feel like I'm not noticing Bighill as much as last year. But I defer to guys like Booch who know a lot more.....interesting that you guys figure he's starting to get it figured out. Good to hear...
  21. he's made several of those incredible high-point knock downs, and every single time I'm incredibly impressed...
  22. now that there's a game's worth of tape on our new look offense, I'm curious what Sask tries next week to take it away. Can they force us to stay in the pocket and play a passing-only game? Will Streveler be able to do it? I just really don't like CS mechanics as a passer...that throwing motion seems all kinds of wrong. Not sure if he can be coached into being a better passer, but I'm sure we'll find out soon enough. Not sure how long this current game plan is sustainable...
  23. I don't wanna quote everyone talking about the global players, but I read a piece last week talking about the globals contributing, and they listed, I believe the stat was "number of snaps played", and Hansen was actually second to Edmonton's global player (can't remember his name). Now, having said that, I'd say that Hansen has been more productive, just based on what he's actually accomplished on the field, but Edmonton's global has apparently been on the field for more snaps, whether on Teams or O/D (not sure if their player is O or D)....
  24. I'm curious if it's a coincidence that he's gotten better without as much rotating. He's playing more snaps since Jeffcoat and Roh went down, and his play has gone up. Possible that he just needs to be in there snap after snap after snap.
