I've got a buddy that's a diehard Hawks fan and was asking me about this. I just don't know... 10 years ago, he was the best D in the league, but he's 38 now with a LOT of hard miles. I'm sure he can still play, but what kinda contract??

I'm definitely going to be treating tomorrow a bit like remembrance day, while also celebrating the things that make our nation great. It's a difficult time and we've all got to do a little reflection on what it really means to be Canadian.

lol to the poster that said Harris is a "workout fiend".... reportedly very untrue. He's really into yoga and spending time at Thermea to keep loose, but by all accounts is not one for the gym. When the topic of steroids came up two summers ago, Doug Brown tweeted how unlikely it was given AH33's "Dad Bod".... Love Harris, have no doubts about his ability to pick up where he left off, but workout fiend I don't believe is accurate.

I live just south of Red Deer, where he played his final year of Junior. We went to see him in playoffs against Medicine Hat spring of 2011...prior to his draft... He came better than advertised. Definitely consensus #1 pick. But always thought the double last name was odd. So right from that night it was "The Hyphen" or just "Hyphen" ha ha. Alwsys thought Nuge was a super lazy nickname. Be more creative than that...

when I worked in Winkler, our annual "Customer Appreciation" Free Hotdog BBQ thing we did every June was bonkers. Lines seemingly endless and never ending...I'll never forget that. If something is free, they come out in droves...

with only 33% protection vs Delta, it'll be a lot of positive cases but probably not a ton of hospital/icu.......but even still.......I'd be concerned about the so-called "Long Covid". We still don't know a LOT about the long term effects, but the early data seems to indicate there will be after-effects.

that contract takes The Hyphen to the end of his career. 5 mil per seems about right for him. He's a quality 2nd line guy, and can play 1st line wing when needed.

Just for a bit of perspective....keep in mind population density there vs here. Also, while people are contracting the virus, severe outcomes are EXTREMELY rare with double dose. From what I've read, hospitalizations and ICU admissions are staying down, even if actual daily case counts are going back up...

and don't forget they've got the league's next MOP in Isaak Harker waiting in the wings....

that OL was complete dogshit in 2019 and has only gotten worse since. Hilarious. The wildly overrated Fajardo ("...Imagine going all in on Cody Fajardo...." - Raydawg) is going to be running for his life all season...

Rookie HC, Rookie QB, Lunatic back-up QB......unsure about the OL protecting the offense....... there's lots of pieces, but how will it all translate on the field?

and Dexter McCoil and one other name that escapes me......again, I ask, how exactly are they going to afford their roster within the cap?
