Honestly, I think the Lions are kidding...they know that people are going to laugh at them playing around in the ocean rather than practicing in the cold to get ready. They're trying to show they're in on the joke. But seriously......they're going to be in for a rude awakening come Sunday because they just don't have any way to prepare for the weather unless they come to Winnipeg early to prep, which obviously they won't be doing...

well there was a quote from Macciocia either late last week or yesterday that he was planning on not coaching next year, but said that ownership would play into that decision. But apparent, at least according to him, he doesn't WANT to coach next year.....so he says.

agreeing with Booch (as per usual) that only at Kicker do the Leos MAYBE have an edge....and that's only because of experience. Liegghio has been very good this year.

I really don't think the Lions are as good as people want to believe. Calgary was **** today. I'm not saying they can't win next week... Any Given Sunday and all that.... But BC was not that good today.

I'm curious about all but one of the CFL writers picking Ham to win, when I thought Montreal would be the favourite. The Cgy/BC game could go either way because they're both so inconsistent and you don't know who will show up. I'll say Calgary and Montreal, but honestly it's a toss up....

Specifically AB/SK, but really, this isn't as much about who's hosting. This is all the corporate partners trying to get the most eyes on the TV during the game. So Bell had a hand in this, and ESPECIALLY the folks at Twisted Tea, who are the main presenters. Between Bell and their "Pure Country" formatted stations (and i'm sure some tie-ins with various record labels) and the presenting sponsor, that's where the decisions were made...

Jordan Davis's "Singles You Up" is a perfect example of the worst of Country music over the past decade plus.....but Buy Dirt was solid, Josh Ross's 1.5 singles to date have been solid, if unspectacular, and while FGL have released a lot of douchetastic stuff, the new Tyler H single "5-foot-9" is actually really good, IMO.... Again, this show is not for everyone, but the people who drink Twisted Tea exclusively, will go NUTS for it....

Yeah, people will go nuts for these songs, I'm sure...they'll finish with FGL's "Cruise", and people will go bonkers 'cause it was a huge hit on the Country and Pop charts, and whatever but Jesus Christ, for our Canadian National Game, you bring in 2 American douches and 1 new Canadian that nobody other than Canadian Country Music employees have ever heard of..... seriously, if you were going to do this, bring in Moskaluke!
