  1. Literally just an email address and you're in....
  2. that is the BEST ******* news! I was drinking WAY too many NEIPA's (Brazen?) the past couple years. A 1919 will be a little easier to get back.....
  3. some Players To Watch today.......... https://3downnation.com/2023/05/27/preseason-preview-eight-rookies-to-watch-in-bombers-vs-elks/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
  4. don't ask questions about things that are a) Easily Googled, and b) have been talked about ad nauseum, not only on here, but all over the internet for weeks, if not months.... and if you do, then expect to be soundly mocked. That's what makes the internet great.
  5. Man I forgot Nick Arbuckle was even a thing.... Wonder if he'll ever pan out.
  6. Definitely had to look it up for this poster, who very much stumped me with information that has not been released anywhere over the last few months........
  7. as mentioned since the sched released, our only "televised" game is vs the Gappers at home next week. This week's game is on 'OB (best bet) or you can listen the LOLK's broadcast sync-ed to the in-house Commonwealth video stream on CFL.ca....
  8. thanks Rich, for looking into the Twitter issue...I was curious if it's on "our" end, or Musky's.......
  9. most of this is nonsense, but I wanted to highlight this bit...... THEY CHOSE THE CHIEF WINGNUT TO BE THEIR LEADER!! How is that not complete hijacking?? I mean, the only way it could possibly be worse is if they had Mad Max.......and even then, I think they're about equal.
  10. in no way, shape or form are Fed Grit supporters "moving to the extreme", unless there's such a thing as Extreme Middle.... even the NDP aren't "Extreme"...... maybe the Greens are? But the CPC has absolutely been hijacked by extreme Right, religious extremists, anti-vaxx conspiracy theorists and the like...
  11. this has been my thought all along...I think he's there to coach.
  12. Dave Campbell @Dave_CHED · 13m DB Aaron Grymes, DL J-Min Pelley, and QB Jarret Doege are the notables who will not play tomorrow vs. Bombers. Looks like we will see 1's vs. 1's to start the game at least as the Bombers are bringing a veteran-heavy lineup. #Elks #CFL
  13. something up between Twitter and MBB, so you can't embed tweets anymore...odd........but here's the LOLk's depth chart....
  14. I believe at one point there was an image of an atom as one of the logos (shoulder crest) on the older jerseys..... Panther as the main logo. Best little town in Manitoba.... best (most beautiful) public golf course in the province (there's several that give it a run....Clear Lake, Gilbert Plains, Minnewasta)..... and, for the most part, you're living on an island...surrounded by water on 3 sides. And it was designed by my grandfather, who was in the inaugural class of Order of Manitoba in 1999 for his work with Whiteshell Nuclear Research Establishment and the design of the townsite to house employees. As Dave says, I could go on and on and on.... It's my favourite place in the entire world, and I just wish there was a way you could still live there and have a full time job. Unfortunate, that.....
  15. It's always yelling and always so angry.... About everything.
  16. So all 4 QBs going to Edm.... Can't imagine Collaros sees the field right? That would be crazy to risk, especially against Chris Jones who would do anything to cripple our meal ticket.
  17. WINNIPEG, MB., May 25, 2023 – The Winnipeg Blue Bombers today announce the following transactions: Transferred to retired list: National running back Jonathan Rosery
  18. not enough love here for TCB...... the Lamplighter Amber is a Top 5 beer for me, and the pizza is outstanding.
  19. Ontario?? Wine...... *fart noises*
  20. Know them very well, and currently have a limited edition of BOTH varieties of whiskey they've made so far. My cousin is very close with Keith Robinson, who's from MB/NW Ont, so I've been a huge fan of Wildlife for awhile now. I'm due for a trip out that way to tour the facility (I'm 1.5h from "the mountains" and you'd be surprised how little we get out there...)
  21. Thank you - who's he replacing on our starting roster? Sheed? Not likely.
  22. Stone Angel wouldn't be in business if things were as bad as Mike says. They'd be shut down by now. I don't have any connection to that place, other than it's our "park and walk" spot for Bombers games, so we always stop for at least one before the game. Have never had a beer that I didn't like at SA.
  23. One Great City doesn't quite know what it wants to be......that's my only issue with them. Everything is "pretty okay"...... The second I walked into Nonsuch, I felt like I was going to get tossed for not making enough money to be in there. I don't expect taprooms to be dive bars, but that place, I just felt like I was being judged the whole time I was there. Maybe I'm just more ghetto than I realize... ha ha. Ever since that experience, it's affected my view on their beer. One of, if not THE, best brewery(ies) in the city. They know exactly who they are and what they want to do. A lot of great beers, and in the winter, the Grandpa's Sweater stout is something truly special.
