Call it what you want … you need to move on from Collaros

Collaros has never been particularly special in any GC game for us...... and I say that as a massive Zach Collaros fan. -

what did he do in that game that was special? That game was Andrew Harris and Chris Streveler and the Defense... People can talk about Collaros playoff performances (and I tend to agree) but this past season, he also started to show a lot of knicks in the armour.... there were games where he just didn't look like himself. Literally throwing the game away. Sure he had a couple really good ones.... tearing BC a new ******* in the second game against them at IGF comes to mind..... but there were more "off" games this year than we've seen since he arrived. There is every reason to be concerned that he's on a downhill slope... -

Game 30 : Original 6.1 - Montreal
Noeller replied to FrostyWinnipeg's topic in Winnipeg Jets Discussion
this was what Gretzky always said.... the players don't care if you're going to call things super tight, or you're going to let everything go... but be consistent about it so they know. Nothing they hate more than never knowing what is or isn't going to get called. -

I hate blaming refs... That lazy fandom.... But **** that was brutal. Habs not getting called on the pick on Ehlers then Ehlers getting called on the ensuing "trip" (butter sawft with 30 seconds remaining).... Weak sauce. -
personally hoping Disney/Marvel uses this horrible event to totally reboot. Get away from all the multiversal nonsense that was far too confusing for a lot of people, and get back to more street level stuff. Excited for Echo/Daredevil... looks really good. Hoping they deliver on the promise of the trailer(s)...

Former Bombers in NFL (and spring leagues) news

Regardless of his comments afterwards, I hate that he's American trained for the most part and all the media hype (Farhan and Naylor mostly) talking like he's a CIS guy. If Forde was given equal hype, I'd be less pissy about it. I'm FAR more interested in the guy that's born here trained here and played all his football as 3 down. Rourke played a LOT of 4 down before the CFL and never really wanted to be here. I sincerely hope Rourke stays down there and never comes back. I'll gladly beat the drum for Forde and any other CIS QB to be a full time starter in the CFL. -
Game 29: vs Avs Ridiculous Start time alert
Noeller replied to iHeart's topic in Winnipeg Jets Discussion
The attendance is "fine"... It only seats 15 and change. It's not like it's the ******* Forum and it's 13k in a 21k barn.... It's manageable and as the team proves it's for real, people will return. This next week, with the O-6 teams and being wek before Christmas, should do decent box. -

I really feel like this is all Bowness... it's what he did in Dallas, too. The guys have figured out the system and are executing it properly. They have a really good goaltender, which helps a ton. Full commitment from everyone to play 200 feet, sacrifice the body to block shots, get sticks in the lanes... this is what happens. The "issue" is trying to get goals, but they've been getting that done, too (and not just from the top line... plenty of secondary scoring)... and that's how you end up where they are. It's a lot of fun to watch, for sure... -

Less Rourke talk, more Forde talk..... Tell me about the Canadian born, raised, trained, CIS-graduated QBs that wanna be here...
