  1. Everyone needs to save a few beers for Portage and Main later.
  2. I think this game will prove that Hall and Pierce are the best coordinators in the league. Montreal will not be ready for what Winnipeg will throw at them. I just hope that they dont do anything unnecessary/ risky like Prukop' int last year.
  3. Yeah, last week the Lions won the toss and they elected to receive to start the game. Bombers decided to kick off for the second half so they would have the ball in the 4th. OShea said the wind made a 10 yard difference for kicks.
  4. Hopefully the Bombers win the coin toss. Looks like its going to be windy.
  5. So who is going to start the game day thread? I've checked out the posters' win loss records for the game threads they started: @Mr. Perfect 1-0 @Geebrr 2-0 @JCon 3-1 @Noeller 3-1 @MOBomberFan 1-2 @Wanna-B-Fanboy 1-0 @Nolby 3-0 @rebusrankin 1-0
  6. You ever listen to Theo Von? It doesnt seem like the guy does much prep for the interviews but does tend to ask some interesting questions and does put his guests at ease.
  7. O'Shea still has him listed as doubtful for tomorrow. lol
  8. Nope. He was with Montreal in 2016. Do people think Johnson is more deserving than Ryan Phillips and Korey Banks (among others) to get into the hall?
  9. I also think that if someone is border-line to get into the hall it would help if they contributed to a Grey Cup. Guys like Roberts, Stegall and Brown didnt win Cups obviously however their individual accomplishments speak for themselves.
  10. The guy from Hot Ones does a lot of prep work for his questions as well.
  11. Maybe he should try to get into the Winnipeg hall of fame first.
  12. I went to Vancouver for the 2011 and 2014 Cups. I really liked their set up where most events were in one area. I'll make sure to book flights and a hotel early this time. Which is what I shud have done for Hamilton. Alas, I am in Winnipeg and not at the game but at least I'll head to Portage and Main if the Bombers win.
  13. Bighill was doing some running today. There is at least a chance he'll play.
  14. Lol. During today's press conference Hodge asked Jefferson how he felt about Kolankowski's play. I guess John was looking for validation for picking him as an all-star.
  15. Some Grey Cup weekend content today: TSN - live coverage from 1-5 pm CJOB - coverage from 2-4 pm Bonfire Sports - Bauming and Walby
  16. West Division post-walkthrough press conference:
  17. Yes, I mis-read the question. I was thinking of those that didnt play in the championship. I would hazard to gues that Mike's example never occured before as teams have played each other at least twice in the past and most MOPs would have dressed for a majority of their games.

  19. A few Bomber examples; Brock (80,81), Clements (87), Stegall (2002).
  20. Bombers are just more passive about it.
