Our offense & Willy looked terrible. The Als game was the game we needed to win because of our schedule & we couldn't do it. Can Willy come back & become a CFL elite qb? As time goes on it just looks like he can't. I hope he can but I think it'll be extremely tough.

If the pressure in Ottawa is to play Harris then maybe a change of scenery for Hank would be worthwhile. You can bet a change of scenery would do Willy a lot of good. I guess we'll see what happens Friday when the Bombers travel here to Calgary & take on the Stamps. Can it get any worse?

Is it time to start a discussion about trading Willy? How can the RedBlacks justify sitting Harris just to placate Hank who'd sulk & pout if he wasn't the starting qb anymore? With the Bombers Willy looks finished. He's broken & looks like he's playing scared as 3 years of hellacious hits will do. Hank is smarter with the football, can evade the rush & make things happen. Willy can't. Hank can play behind a subpar OL & Willy can't. So, would it make sense for the Bombers & RedBlacks to make a qb swap? We'd probably have to give up our #1 pick in the CFL Draft as well next year. Should Walters make that trade?

At least at some point Kane will either retire or taken off of the wrestling shows. We'll be stuck with Stephanie for another 15-20 years.

How the suits thought Strombo would bring a young demographic is beyond me & a lot of Canadians. He is one guy. Hip clothing, hairstyle or new studio won't do it... He tried to look 25 & I guess SN thought he'd bring in a younger audience. Thing is, most Canadians that are Millennials already are hockey fans. So there was no need to have him there. They should have found a young sportscaster who is great in front of the camera & bring him as host. Or promote one of the panelists to host. Instead they went with a guy who knew very little about hockey. He just never fit in. I also think as much as the network depends on numbers from Southern Ontario they talk too much about the Leafs which pisses off fans across Canada in cities that have NHL teams & they tune out. That affects the ratings, I believe. SN needs to look at the NFL & how the networks televise games down there. Whether it's Fox,NBC, ESPN or CBS you never have them talking constantly about one team. They all cover the NFL whether it's the Giants, Niners, Panthers or Jaguars equally. That's what I'd like to see up here with the NHL. Maybe I'd watch more games if they did that. Let's say the Jets play the Senators & after the game they spend 3 minutes talking about it & then start talking Leafs. Well eff that. So, I watch the Jets whenever they are on SN (which isn't often) & ignore other games that I don't watch because I hate Leafs all day 24/7 from SN & TSN as well.

So, all we ever read about are cuts in broadcasting & print media. Bell, Rogers & Postmedia. Broadcasting & media is now a graveyard. (Sorry Noeller).

Hard to believe Axel is Curt Hennig's son. I mean Curt's dad Larry "The Axe" was a big man & talented. Larry was never as athletic as his son Curt but still a very good wrestler. Roger Kent on the AWA broadcasts used to say Larry Hennig was "Big enough to go bear hunting with a switch". He was at that. Well over 6'4 & 300 lbs which was big for a wrestler back in the late 60's. Curtis is just a bad wrestler. I won't say awful. Maybe awfully bad & I'll just leave it at that.

The way things are going, Walters & MOS won't be around to ever see Goosen & Waggoner become long time starters as they'll be fired. I just think rebuilding our OL is taking years too long. We need to find competent American tackles & guards.

What is the rule for intentional grounding in the CFL? In the NFL the qb can't throw the ball away if he's between the tackles. I think the CFL has a different rule about that...

You're right on that. Not always the OL like wbbfan is saying. Not always on Willy either like others are saying.

We gave up a 1st round pick to get Waggoner. So why wouldn't we trade for a qb with next year's pick? The way I see it there aren't many starting qbs available like there were in 2014 so a trade is the only way to find one. I'd trade with Edmonton to get him. A first rounder & one of our starters is probably what it would take.

Then on a blitz Willy is totally effed.

I remember being in the bar (Marble Club if anyone remembers) the night before the Western Final in 1984 vs the Lions. I remember discussing the game with my friends & anyone who joined in & becoming nervous thinking about going into BC Place & having to beat the Lions. Well, we did it, went to the Grey Cup & won. Unbelievable. Of the 3 we won in 84, 88 & 90 that was the most satisfying. Ending a (then) 22 year drought. Ohhh what a feeling! What a rrrrrush! I find it sad that loyal younger fans here that bleed blue & gold haven't been rewarded for their loyalty with a Grey Cup win. Bad players, coaching & management over the years have caused this. Maybe O'Shea & Walters turn this thing around this year. We can only hope.
