Duron Carter grew up watching Randy Moss Ocho Cinco & Terrell Owens.He probably knows them thru his father. When Carter did his thing at the Ottawa bench it reminded me of the disrespect Owens showed for the Cowboys strutting twice on the Cowboys logo atmidfield after scoring TD's. Total selfishness & disrespect. Carter has million dollar talent & a 10 cent head.

Going from a 3-15 & perennial sad sack team to a 13-5 team that is serious contender for the Grey Cup. That's what I mean as the Next Level.

I know. Desjardins has done that twice. However, it all starts with a great foundation: the Riders OL. We don't have anything close to Ottawa's OL. The rebuild just goes on & on. If i was Walters I'd be checking out other teams practice roster & plucking guys off their PR. There has to be one or 2 guys that can play OL. To hell with CFL tradition or protocol when it comes to the PR. We have to start winning NOW!

In order for this team to progress to the next level we have to be able to win games against teams like Calgary & Edmonton in their home stadiums. If we can do that then confidence builds with the players & good things happen. C'mon Bombers get that win tomorrow.

Ottawa's offense is just absolutely flying with Travon Van & Trevor Harris. But Van is hurt. But Harris hits Ernest Jackson for a TD. Watching Ottawa just makes me angry. How is it they can build a team like that from scratch in 3 years & we're still stuck in neutral? It's frustrating as hell.

We bought one of these water efficient toilets & it's terrible. Constantly plugs up & there's not enough water when flushed to get rid of all the fecal matter in one flush. So you have to flush 2 or 3 times. How is that conserving water?

Exactly! I have to admit that I have a bias for Dave Dickenson. I know him personally & we're friends. We met when he came back from BC to Calgary. He coached my son in the off season & eventually he started the Dave Dickenson Passing Academy. I got to know him because of that. We'll go for lunch & talk in the off season. I leave him alone during the season though.

Five years ago Weber would have been considered one of the top. But not anymore. He's still good but he's getting up there in age. As you get older it gets harder to play a physical game against younger forwards who give back what they get game after game.

You have to wonder why the Oilers didn't trade Hall to the Canadiens for Subban. At least that would have made sense for the Oilers. A one for one with two of the best players in the NHL. That would have made it far more palatable for Oiler fans.

Why is it Jones is having so many problems with players? This past offseason & pre season has been a continuos soap opera. He better start winning because a lot of players will say no thanks to the Riders during free agency because he's developing a bad reputation of screwing guys over. The only way free agents will go there is if they think they'll win a Grey Cup.

The stadium in Ottawa isn't very big at 24,000. It has a nice new grandstand but the same old one reno'd on the other side because there is a hockey arena underneath it of all things where the 67's play so they couldn't tear it down. Hamilton's is just a bare bones nothing fancy stadium that also seats 24,000. Hopefully someday both stadiums will be expanded.
