I could Alexander being transitioned out, but I really believe bighill is a guy mos will need to be dragged kicking and screaming away from.

That's why I said devil's advocate. Honestly I think we should be giving some young blood a chance and hope that we do... but I'm skeptical based on who the head coach is and how he feels about veterans and not needing practise time.

To play devil's advocate here... I'd suggest that the coaches already know exactly what those players can do in the league so what's a few snaps in preseason going to tell them that they don't already know? I think decisions about MLB and safety are already pretty settled. Either a incumbent it taking the job or they know a new face can step up and claim it. No side by aide comparison needed.

Collaros being the top qb is a damning indictment of the quality of quarterback play in the cfl. Guy was inconsistent last year. I think having streveler to take some meaningful reps in a game will help change things up if collaros gets into a funk.

7 or 8 guys rotating through the DL. That's what worked in 2019 and 2021. Lack of that hurt the past 2 seasons. Just wear down the opposing team.

If they hadn't brought in a highly regarded DL late I'd be 100% that Thomas/Schmekel would hold down one DT spot. now I'm 50/50 but probably leaning towards they might have 2 american DTs on the roster but the rotation would be heavy. But I guess we shall see.

I think all American DL is not going to happen... maybe Augustine gets snipped but I am not convinced. Honestly I think if there's a surprise cut it'll be Alexander and he will slide into a coaching position. I mean maybe not cut cut but perhaps he's injured all year or something.

I just think if bc tries to run more it will negate what made their offense work which was "passing yards go brrrrrrrr" they made a ton of big plays. You run you are basically committing to a more methodical march down the field style.

I noticed D'Abreau (or however he spells it) a bunch too, but if rivers is a guy they've been high on for a while he will naturally get more chances
