They get points when he puts them in range rather than fumbles and the score is still close enough before Tate got the controls. Glenn's ints didn't help either, although one was a tip. In either case, Glenn seems to be ineffective in big games, I'm actually still really surprised he got the start over Tate. ahh that's not a real good thing to say. Glenn is what he is. He is not the guy to elevate his teams play, he's the guy who goes along with how the team is going. If the team is playing well he plays well if the team isn't playing well he's not the guy to turn it around. Nothing wrong with that but because he's the qb he gets **** on for not being the super star player who can flip things all by himself.

People are choosing to remember 2008 when they think of Berry when a lot of people had down years, particularly Kevin Glenn. The guy knows his way around a CFL offense. He may not be the best coach but he's a good one and I don't recall him ever having a team with a poor o-line either. Hell Montreal got a lot better once he started working with the offense this year too.

This is all true. Also on the impossible to like list are Durant, Sheets, & Chamblin. I took the Stamps loss last week almost as badly as I would a Bomber loss, just b/c I so badly wanted Calgary to have their dressing room and win a Cup in their home. There problem with some Ticat fan posters, yourself excluded, is they seek out other sites to troll. For the most part Rider fans just take part in being knobs on their own site. But at least these guys "trolling" our site actually know something about football. They're clearly fans. The biggest issue with Rider "fans", by far, is that they're among the least knowledgeable in the country. As Dave mentioned, they know less about their OWN team, never mind the rest of the league, than the average person on this site knows about the Riders. Yet, they go around talking like they're the best football fans in the world. They make me sick, period. Often "trolling" is defined as simply stuff you dont like. But, whatever. Just glad I'm not the only one that can seperate the myth from the reality in regards to the riders. I suspect that a lot of the reason there's more "trolling" by ticat fans is because there's not as big an online community for them as for some of the western teams so they have to go looking at other teams forums for some discussion. I don't hate argo fan trolls or ticat fan trolls simply because at least they're fans and care enough to talk about their team in these communities, need more people as fans of those teams and maybe we can stop pandering to Southern Ontario so much.

Noeller had a room mate back then who was a diehard rider fan and I remember quite clearly one night while we were all drunk this guy says with a straight face and in all seriousness that Nealon Greene is just as good as Khari Jones... The level of delusion amongst that fanbase, I also recall rider fans at some point trying to claim that Szarka was as good a FB as Mike Sellers. I am not looking forward to the week long circle jerk that's going to happen for "Canada's team" I hate Burris very much but I have no doubts that I'll be cheering hard for him by the weekend just because I'll be so sick of everything green.

Wow, have you lived a sheltered life. For every one bad Ti Cat poster there are 500 Priders on the internet throwing around ****. Sorry, but i will have to disagree iso. Yes, there are more douchey rider posters out there in total but that has to do with the sheer volume of their fanbase. I find the ratio of douchey/respectable posters to be much higher amongst Ticat fans vs. Rider fans. Ticat fans are driven by extreme fanboyism and arrogance which is surprising considering their terrible recent history (only1 cup in nearly 30 years). Onemoredork and a couple ticat fans who were banned from the other bomber sites come to mind. Rider fans are by far the douchiest if only because there are so many false fans. I know lots of people who call themselves diehard rider fans who know less about their team then everyone on this website. Too many bandwagon jumpers. At least the obnoxious ticat fans are actually fans.

And why wouldn't Miller hire a GM who has a similar way of thinking as himself anyway? It's not like he's going to go out and get a guy who is totally at odds with his ideas.

I would think making it to the Grey Cup changes things for Hamilton with regards to Burris. This is the most success that team has had in ages, how on earth do they move on from the qb who brought that to them? If they'd bowed out of the playoffs in the semi finals or even the finals then I could see them moving on but now? I dunno.

Calgary definitely played poorly. That many turnovers and missed tackles. The Riders may have won if Calgary had played a clean game but it would have been a lot closer without the mistakes from the Stamps.

I would rather see Hank play terribly but the riders self destruct and beat themselves, that would do so much more emotional damage to that "fan"base. Knowing that the game was there for the taking but they fumbled it away. That's my dream.

That's the saddest part of MIke Kellys time here, he could have been a head coach if he didn't have that massive massive ego. If he'd let someone else run a proper offense, if he hadn't been so stupid at GM he could have been a solid head coach because the players obviously played for him (something they didn't do for Burke no matter what the team says)
