  1. sure do.
  2. well we can't all be bandwagon fans.
  3. first of all I would say that Bob Odenkirk was famous before he was Saul Goodman....
  4. and I would much rather they struggle on a road trip on Southern Ontario in the summer than against western opponents in the fall, especially around early September.
  5. let's not forget that the Stamps have had plenty of playoff choke jobs over that time as well. This obsession with championships does more harm than good to this team and this fanbase. Forget it and just let things play out. You keep making the playoffs then at some point you're going to win a Grey Cup or 3.
  6. Ok but Walter's and oshea haven't been here for 29 years, and honestly a big problem in that streak is the constantly firing coaches and gms when they hit a rough patch. No one ever got to build any consistancy. Walter's and oshea are the first ones and the results thus far seem positive. Always a playoff contender now, expectations of being a top team. Those guys have earned a lot more time.
  7. actually seems like a really nice day in Calgary today, now granted it is Calgary so that can change in 5 minutes, but hey at least that aspect should be OK. Now as for the game day, well after the last two games....
  8. Burris wouldn't have won a grey cup here anyway, guy hated playing in bad weather.
  9. maybe the one thing that could lessen my fandom of this team. Burris is a puss and a horrible team mate. No thank you to that dink on this team.
  10. Toronto attempted something stupid like 50 passes. Our D didn't get stops when they needed. Hell they could have ended the game at the end on 3rd down except they tackled the guy past the first down sticks instead of before. They pooped their pants as bad or worse than the offense did.
  11. I can see that, guy looks like a tool.
  12. Some people will do anything to boost their post count.
  13. Say this for our coordinators, they will have a close game.
  14. Never underestimate the power if greed.
  15. the coaches know based on practise and their week to week work. If they thought Streveler was ready for more than certain packages you would likely see him more.
  16. Glenn was having a ho hum season and Dinwiddie was the new hotness at backup qb, Berry gave Dinwiddie some starts and it was awful and then went back to Glenn and it was still awful cause your qbs are being treated at the scapegoats and they're afraid of making a mistake. Long term it got Berry fired and we got the Mike Kelly shitshow in response. This whole idea that you can just yo-yo your qbs without impacting their game and that the new guy will fix everything just leads to teams imploding. Yes you can get Streveler some more time in blow out situations or as a change up if the offense is bogged down, but you don't yank NIchols just to see if the new guy can do it.
  17. So you basically treat it like Doug Berry did with Kevin Glenn in 2008? How'd that work out for the team in both the short and long term?
  18. You know what it really is with the OL? It's the inexperience. For example I've seen Gray make some absolutely killer blocks, but I've also seen him miss some. Just don't have that level of consistency that we saw previously with a bunch of long term vets.
  19. No that's the definition of being average.
  20. I don't think that's mental, I just think that he's a guy that when he's having a bad day he's having a bad day.
  21. I know people are only thinking about the most recent games but honestly I think Nichols is best at midrange throws, he just doesn't have that in the game plan enough. Lapo wants bombs or dump offs to challenge the perimeter.
  22. Oh? Because I've been signing Nichols praises to the high heavens have I? Maybe go back and read what I've actually said... I've said he's not been playing well, I've said he's a flawed qb, but what I'm not doing is laying it all at his feet because that's bullshit. All I am doing really is arguing with you folks who are ready to run the guy out of town after he's led the best team we've had in almost 2 decades.
  23. He didn't become anything, he's the same guy. 2002 #1 receiver on the team Milt Stegall, #2 Arland Bruce... #3 and #4 Charles Roberts and Mike Sellers. Dumping the ball off is what Lapo has always done. Cripes he did the exact same **** when he was head coach too. Remember all the complaining about guys running 7 yard patterns when they need 10 yards? He is the exact same guy he has always been. Can draw up a good playbook and must do a good job during the week, but as a play caller he absolutely ******* sucks because he does 2 things, he outsmarts himself and he calls a passive game. I have more faith in Ritchie Hall than I do Lapo and that's saying something cause Hall isn't the best coordinator out there either.
  24. Irrelevant. Besides that Nichols isn't nearly as mentally weak as Glenn. He's probably a less talented player with a stronger mental game which puts them on roughly equal footing.
