Games in July don't mean **** when sorting who the top teams are. This time last season everyone was falling over themselves about the riders and the Bombers had lost to Toronto and barely beat calgary (on a missed kick no less) and had the same "oh they're not really a top team" crap. Bc being **** last year has to prove they are for real. The Bombers don't. They're for real until such time as they amass a poor record.

The back to back Champs don't have to prove they are a top team. That's already known.

Bunch of negative folks around here. The offense has made plays when they have needed to. They're running vanilla **** because it's July but if they need a drive they get a drive. The short week is a pain from preparation standpoint but the O can make things happen and the D is not giving up many points and depth is the strength of the team. Keep the faith. I don't believe BC is a tough enough team to beat the Bombers.

This generally has been the Bombers MO the last few years. They give up yards but teams have to earn them. They are a grind it out defense that brings big time physicality.

I actually thought he really stood out in the preseason as someone always around the ball and he seemed to be around the ball last night too. Should be able to handle things in my nonexpert opinion. Losing Wilson sucks but depth has always been the biggest strength of this team.

To me he has possession the whole way and doesn't lose possession until banks pulls it out after he hits the ground. Which shouldn't be possible because soon as he touches he is down by contact. What the refs do though is err on the side of a touchdown and rely on review to get it right but this one was hard to overturn the call on the field.

I don't think refs are biased, just bad. There is a big difference. But then again, why would you ever argue without using hyperbole?

Yeah but Ritchie Hall problems. Everything was short throws and yards after the catch. Harris was a bigger issue. The problem was entirely that the O spent too much time not staying on the field.

He also threw like 4 interceptions. The big td pass was such an awful throw only undone by the awful reffing and review of the play.

Offense was slow out of the gate last season as well. Peirce seems go keep things vanilla to start the year it will improve I have no worries.
