Bombers at Elks GDT (Ford vs. Ford)
Put a couple guys onside.

Bombers at Elks GDT (Ford vs. Ford)
3 guys watching one guy try to tackle. No rule against everyone rallying to the ball.

Bombers at Elks GDT (Ford vs. Ford)
Our defenders just running into blocks, no one left to tackle. Gotta read it and a couple guys need to eat two blocks.

Bombers at Elks GDT (Ford vs. Ford)
Our receivers really stink vs zone. Collaros reads are pretty clear. Like where did Lawler think a ball was going to fit there in a cut cover? He's gotta flatten out.

Bombers at Elks GDT (Ford vs. Ford)
Because he dove out like he was going to make a shoestring tackle when he could have just drove through the hip.

Bombers at Elks GDT (Ford vs. Ford)
Imagine if Willie could tackle.

Bombers at Elks GDT (Ford vs. Ford)
Have we ever thrown a ball out to Oliviera when he splits out to field wideout? Edmonton didn't even cover it.

Bombers at Elks GDT (Ford vs. Ford)
QB draw is just about the dumbest play call for that situation with Ford at QB. Ford is so dangerous on the scramble.

Also Prukop forward progress was stopped pretty early on that play. They let him advance it at the end of the play. If they give spots like that guys like Tony Jones are just going to frog splash the QB on that pile.

First thing Lucky does is stop his feet and wait. Killer return.

FNF Double Header Ti Cats @ Argos, Riders @ Stamps GDT
Stamps basically skunked in that first half aside from their short-yardage QB breaking a 70 yard TD run.

Bombers at Elks chat
They run sets with 7 OL relatively often. If we lose a receiver they'll be playing 6 many more downs.

Bombers at Elks chat
That's a thin offense. 1-2 injuries to skill guys away from being in a world of hurt. Really paying the price for that Wolitarsky injury with no one really capable to elevate in there.

Wilson has been awful since he got back from achilles injury. I'm sure they'll find a way to get him on the roster but if it's for Jones, Ayers or Griffin it's a bad bad move.

The XFL style kick off (Possible rule change in the future)
Don't see this as an issue at all in Canadian football.

Blue Bombers - 2024 Regular Season - Discussion Thread
Hopefully Hart is a speedster who can run routes to get himself some space. Again, his body type not exactly the type that suits the Collaros style pass game. We're somewhat overloaded with slight, short receivers on the import side. Could use more of the 6'3 210-220 type.

Nah. They know Wilson isn't viable this season. That's why 2 29 year olds with significant pro game experience are here.

I think Dolegala will be QB2....like the guy they'd have most ready to play if they needed him to replace Collaros. The other two will make it on active roster depending who they like better for the run package.

CFL - 2024 Regular Season - Discussion Thread
I really don't see a scenario where he and WIllie could be on the field at the same time. We'd get gashed badly by any QB who had a moderate football IQ. We need a guy who gets off the line and disrupts the pocket. Not more guys who play basketball defense on a football field.

Either way keep your hands on the table.

SNF Als @ Stamps GDT
Montreal should have played for the win. Tie does nothing to help them toward clinching 1st in East, same as a loss. Ottawa has to win 3 more games then them to get first. 4 if they (Montreal) wins in Calgary.

Basically had no ability to execute in intermediate passing game which is the lifeblood of a pro offense.

The 30, and the (d)evolution of our front scheme.
And the time before that when we lost to Toronto it was Arbuckle carving us up.

Blue Bombers - 2024 Regular Season - Discussion Thread
Edmonton spent over a million dollars on free agent receivers and OL heading into 2022 and 2023 each year. Sask's 1-2 receivers were Bane and Emilus for Dolegala and their OL continued to be bad. Dolegala is demonstrably a better passer.

Blue Bombers - 2024 Regular Season - Discussion Thread
Cornelius has never played a stretch of games anywhere close to as well as Dolegala did last year with Sask in 9 starts over his parts of 3 seasons as Edmonton's starter. And he had a way better surrounding cast.
