  1. Forgot Exume and Hallett on teams too.
  2. I actually think Streveler has better 10-20 yard passing game than Nichols. He doesn't have enough touch on the deep balls and isn't great on the balls into the flats, swing passes. Those 10-15-20 yard ones he puts right on guys.
  3. Dribbled ball...should be a safety, would be a single if it went out directly from the kick, since Edmonton punched it out of touch it's a safety. Could have been a huge turning point handing Edmonton the ball and some field position on a botched call. The key words below are "directed" and "possessed." If Edmonton recovered the ball and killed the play it's a single. Directing it out of touch makes it a safety. Article 3 — Safety Touch A safety touch is scored when the ball becomes dead in the possession of a team in its own Goal Area, or touches or crosses the Dead Line or a Sideline in Goal as a result of the ball having been carried, kicked, fumbled or otherwise directed from the Field of Play into the Goal Area by the team scored against, or as a direct result of a kick from scrimmage having been blocked in the Field of Play or Goal Area. After a safety touch, the options to the scoring team are to: Scrimmage at their own 35-yard line, kickoff from their own 35-yard line or, Accept a kickoff from the 25-yard line of the team who conceded the safety touch. If while in the act of conceding a safety touch, a team deliberately, in the judgment of the official, commits a Holding infraction, the score shall count and the penalty applied at the point where the ball is next put into play. When a Rough Play or Unnecessary Roughness foul is committed on a play during which a safety touch is scored by the non-offending team, the score shall be allowed and the penalty assessed from the point where the ball is next put in play. Article 4 — Single Point Or Rouge If the ball is kicked into the Goal Area by an opponent, a rouge is scored: when the ball becomes dead in possession of a team in its own Goal Area or, when the ball touches or crosses the Dead Line or a Sideline in Goal, and touches the ground, a player or some object beyond these lines.
  4. Gotta give props to Walters and scouts too. McAllister and Rios with a combo pick six....Hansen taking a regular role...Kongbo taking a big role....no matter who plays field HB nobody scores TD's on us. Eli and Desjarlais playing with mixed results....but we're winning with them. Lots of 2019 picks and rookies making plays.
  5. Everyone did their job. Need 44 gameballs. Our whole DL was amazing vs pass and run tonight, they especially deserve the game ball. Medlock with 6 key points in last minute of both halves. HUGE points.
  6. And that punishing option run/pass stuff is demoralizing....especially avoiding turnovers. Ideally we have both and make use of both. I know the 2 QB system isn't ideal usually but with these guys and complimentary skills they have I think it gets us the Cup.
  7. Bombers 3-0 vs Alberta.... Sask in 2nd place now.
  8. Suitor needs to retire.
  9. Yep, 3 drops for about 60 yards between Demski, Matthews and Wolitarsky.
  10. Yeah most other QB's take that hit it's a flag...running QB's they seem to feel it's ok to pummel late, V Adams, Streveler take a lot.
  11. Nice drive to get 3 at end of half...almost like a vet.
  12. Eli might get in sooner than later. If he just fills that gap Streveler gets an extra second.
  13. Desjarlais got killed on the twist.
  14. AHHHH!!! That's the play we need Matthews to make...he's got position, needs to get up and get that.
  15. Crazy tackle hold kept that punt from being blocked.
  16. That's exactly right. And that half-second is when the ball is gone.
  17. They need to get Wolitarsky inside.
  18. There it is...there it all is. Beauty mid range passing game and all the runs you could ever want.
  19. Demski makes the nice grab and takes the late suplex.
  20. Lapo hasn't really opened up the tool kit yet. Run to Harris, screen to Harris or straight drop passing. One RPO look run to Harris (the big one) and that's all.
  21. That guy hit Medlock so late his leg wasn't even up.
  22. Streveler didn't get a shot to look downfield on the 2nd and long, Desjarlais was in his lap.
  23. Desjarlais is no good...just got driven into the pocket right off the snap and killed the play.
  24. If you think that was a bad defense you haven't watched much football.
  25. Nowhere to throw that and no time to set feet. Grant please catch the punt.
