  1. If Robertson doesn't tip that it's probably a pick six.
  2. BC RT got away with a clip there.
  3. Whole playbook has to be open from there. Fajardo can't throw 25 yards anyway.
  4. No point in taking that FG from the 5 yard line if you want to win this game.
  5. The Gatorade jugs have a protection order on Maas.
  6. Sask's LT is getting beat on his first step.
  7. Duke Williams probably the absolute worst 'star' receiver to support a shitty QB. Doesn't even fight for that ball.
  8. Insane to me that the officials on the field don't know basic rules. Rely way too much on Command Centre.
  9. Fajardo sending that ball downfield with thoughts and prayers. BC can't advance that ball on the fumble. Botched call. Should be procedure.
  10. Interested to see the sub packages we have on D to deal with the package Sask runs with the 2 blocking backs.
  11. Yeah that was ridiculous. Can't even claim thought play was on since the guy he hit was the center with the ball that hadn't moved.
  12. They really gotta crack down on Rhymes push offs. Joke of a PI call there, if anything should be on Rhymes.
  13. Game plan wasn't good for Evans and you have a guy who can actually pass sitting on the sideline. The receivers are so shocked when they get a ball in their chest and don't have to dive into the turf to try to salvage one.
  14. Lapo holds the QB in at least a quarter too long again.
  15. Cornelius with some deep yawns on the sideline. After the headshots earlier the concussion spotter and training staff should be taking note.
  16. Yeah no one has seen it since 2002.
  17. Bad teams always have good D-lines and bad quarterbacks. Litre getting the halftime interview bump.
  18. I don't think Lapo should survive losing this one. He's chosen to go with a QB who 100% can't pass and isn't really featuring the run either. He has Arbuckle waiting on the sideline but doesn't like him or whatever with what happened in 2021. Time to move on.
  19. They have Lawler blocking on the edge on short yardage...insane for $300,000 receiver to be in that package.
  20. Forde doesn't like that call but #2 on Ottawa initiates contact with a runner helmet to helmet. Call made as much to protect defenders, can't lead with head. That guy leading with his head just as likely to break his neck as the guy with the ball.
  21. If Edmonton is going to be crazy might as well go full crazy and have a chance to win, get 3 backs out there and run the Wishbone.
  22. Can't waste the challenge on a coin flip challenge 1/4 of the way through the game.
  23. If he doesn't prove to be a useful NFL player his time as a 3rd stringer will expire in 2-3 years. If he's at least a good backup he could be there until he's 40 making $5-$10 million USD a year, much more if he's a starter. Look up Chase Daniel. That guy has made $40 million over his career and he's thrown less passes in 15 years than Rourke has this season.
  24. Punt is easiest for the defense to block, especially when they give no fucks about setting up a return. If you want to kick it out of the side of the endzone you do it off the tee. Prefontaine used to do this all the time as a kind of fake because he was a terrible placekicker, you can coffin corner a placekick and the ball is dead where it goes out of bounds, or you can drop it in the corner bouncing and let a returner figure it out. Anyways in this case you want it to go out. Like someone else said this all comes down to having practiced this or not. The other option would be to run a play with some time left and have a receiver kick it through. Throw a quick pass underneath, guy turns and kicks. Usually see that if it's a bit deeper than you'd be comfortable FG range, or off a kickoff return (Calgary tried it down 41-40 last week after BC hit the go-ahead FG). Really though should be able to hit a 32 yard FG....and if it's wide hammer it high and deep, cover it to trap the returner if it doesn't get past the touch line. Easiest way to win would have been for the O to keep playing instead of wasting six snaps to bleed clock and set up a FG attempt....IMO.
  25. Kind of a weird standings situation IMO. Sask isn't too far in the rear-view. They win 3-4 in a row and they are fighting for 1st-2nd especially if those games are against BC and us. Calgary is basically out of the picture unless they go on a run and beat BC at the end of September. I'm interested to see how their D looks with all the guys back. I think the Bombers might want to start thinking like BC and having 3 imports on the line, get a look at Witt at center or guard.
