Honestly feels like for such a cerebral D scheme that we have supposedly the players have no idea of what the outcome they are trying to generate is. Very disconnected. Like we'll blitz 7 and the guys behind aren't covering the receivers...they are backpedalling to stay on top of routes when we need to be ON guys because there's like 1.8 seconds for the QB to move it out.

You can't run that blitz and then have guys in such passive leverage behind it. Nichols needs to COVER Hardy. We're selling out there, there's not going to be enough time for the QB to move off the first read.

A recipe for receivers who want to make plays to make plays. You're not going to hit a guy 23 yards down the field in coverage in the numbers. Someone is going to have to make a play.
