yeah, don't overlook how bad Ottawa's talent on O is ... look at their O roster compared to the 2019 Bombers ... compare them position to position, there's not many positions where Ottawa has the superior talent. I count zero but I might be missing someone. They had two years to recruit and came up with Flanders as their starting tailback and Dom Davis (!) as their QB2, not to mention busted-up old guys like Nichols and Coombs. Their only real dangerous receiver is a holdover from 2019. Just really brutal player personnel work there. Lapo ain't helping them any but I don't think Don Matthews himself could win with that bunch.

"flag football" nice!

Full value to Maier but good lord montreal is giving him a lot of chances. Full on self destruction and terrible penalties. K. Jones has his work cut out for him, his team's mind ain't right, they're coming apart at the first sign of trouble.

good thing Schlitz is not a receiver 2nd and five, give it to Stanback fer chrissakes

Alford running through blackberries. Nice coverage.
-
very nice job making the Als pay for that bonehead RTP, Mr. Maier. there was an interesting stat a few years ago .. chances of scoring a TD go up radically on a drive where the defence commits a major foul. that automatic first down and +15 really juices a drive.
-
players seem less disciplined too. that lions / elks game was hard to watch. and Mtl just gave the Stamps an extra life on their side of midfield. terrible untimely penalty at the most critical time so far in the game.
-
game migrating from gooder to snoozer. come on CFL. VAJ regressing. hasn't been the same since he banged his hand.
-
man I do not like to see a RB moving laterally on short yardage ... low reward, high-risk move. Stanback turns zero yards into four yards in the scrum. hoss.
-
why does Milt have a Lions jersey in his closet?
-
Maier back to work, making quick decisions, delivering with timing and accuracy until he's let down by his RB. that's too bad, this game is shaping up to be a gooder.
-
he's catching some passes, he's got 13 catches for 105 yards ... lots of safety valve throws and T. Harris dinking. He's a 235 pound scatback. he's got amazing moves for such a big man but you need a tough yard in a crowded box he's not your guy.
-
he actually had some room there, too, he could've tucked and ran, but he made the right decision while in the ****.
-
Game on. Looked like a snoozer early on...
-
like the escapability there, stepping up, eyes downfield.
-
liked Suitor's breakdown of the D rotation on the pick, but he overlooked how Adams completely missed the receiver. also like seeing a young QB shaking it off and starting to roll. CFL needs every young QB it can get. there's a good throw to the field side. CFL offence becomes much easier when you make 'em cover the whole field
-
oof, definitely a weird throw by Adams there.
-
dude has great moves, no doubt, but he can't make the tough yards like a Stanback or a Harris. if he dresses for the job he wants, I see a great future for Wilder in the wet t-shirt contest industry.
-
if Adams puts less air on that throw to Lewis, that throw becomes a lot more dangerous, there's a DB right there to make a play on it. You got a receiver with outrageous vertical and body control, throw it high and let him make a play.
-
yeah, a good QB doesn't ever take advantage of his receivers' giant catch radius.
-
questionable throw into a big crowd, some poor decision making there. Stanback such a beast, best tailback in the league at this moment.
