  1. oh right - win, lose, tie is the order. Yeah 16-0-2.
  2. and everything returns to its natural order. For the Bombers to dominate, we need a weak Rider team to feast on.
  3. not following the math there....two exhibition games, eighteen regular season, western final, Grey Cup....I get 22-0 at that point...but wait! It's suggested that the Bombers are so dominant that their only real competition would be a team made up of NFL all-stars, and so a week after the Grey Cup, the Bombers go in to Arizona for the inaugural "Can-Am Bowl" and win the game on a last second sack of Russell Wilson in the end zone by Euclid Cummings. 23-0!!!
  4. 16-2-0 - Calgary forfeits both games but because its against the Bombers the league rules both games as ties.
  5. So long I can't even remember the last one, hockey or football.
  6. just wait until we get Bilukudi! All Canadian front 4!!!
  7. I am hoping someone out of TC can unseat Darvin Adams.
  8. Chris Matthews!!!!!
  9. Key is keeping Willy healthy, and giving him a decent scheme to play in. Do that and everything else including wins will fall into place.
  10. Speaking from experience, here's what turning 40 is like for your body:

  13. Done! Throw in Burmi too. Maybe they'll throw in a pick.
  14. I wish the Republicans would give up on the same sex marriage and abortion stuff. They are so far behind the curve on those issues.
  15. I have been studying Bernie's website on how he thinks he can raise the mega-billions he wants to get to pay for all of the great free stuff he wants to lavish on America's "middle-class" and I can't get his numbers to work. For instance, unless I am reading it wrong, Bernie claims that he will be able to tax financial transactions at .5% and this will result in $125 billion in tax revenue. Yet he states in his white paper that the value of the transactions he wants to tax is in the $25 billion per year range. When I do the math I get $125 million, not billion. But that doesn't really matter. If Bernie thinks that he will be able to just pull $125 billion a year, somehow, out of America's financial markets, he's on crack. And so are his followers. I'm 100% in favor of a Rubio-Clinton face-off for the presidency. And may the best man win.
  16. All the best to Buck. If Lapo can keep Willy alive this year instead of the previous QB killing ground we had as an offensive scheme, I know Buck will be a great mentor and super coach. This is a step in the right direction in my opinion.
  17. I was in Costco yesterday and ran into some people in line who were Rider fans (came up as we were chatting). They were cheesed that we've signed all of their players and I was cheesed that we had signed all of their players. So it was a mutual cheesing.
  18. Oh, it's just getting started... http://www.tsn.ca/talent/mondaymustread-scott-approached-about-movie-1.431618
  19. You would think Buck would want to stick close to home, as he's in baby-making mode right now.
  20. I actually enjoyed it. I also found the skills competition somewhat funny and sort of interesting too. A few of the players hammed it up and made it fun. This was awesome though, icing on the cake: http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=800494&navid=DL|NHL|home Kudos to the Nashville fans for selecting John Scott as MVP, and for lustily booing Gary Bettman. http://video.nhl.com/videocenter/console?id=941105 It's too bad that the CBC rushed to end their broadcast so quickly.
  21. You forgot Edmonton in 2006 and Ottawa in 2007. Canada's had its chances to win the Cup, we've just choked when we've had the chance.
  22. In BC we sure do.
  23. This made me remember the time Perry Tuttle spoke to our class in Niverville and someone asked him if he was nervous playing in front of 30,000 people at Winnipeg Stadium (that's what it was called back then) and he just laughed and said that he played in front of crowds much bigger in high school in the US. We were stunned. Didn't have the internet back then.
