Yes I do. Justin Trudeau = massive hypocrite.
-
Kind of like how their whole second amendment should be re-visited, now in context. At the time they wanted an armed populace to repel the British invasion, which they assumed would be coming from Canada at some point in the future.
-
This is what happens when you want to sell apocalyptic fairy tales. You end up with crazy baby eaters coming to your press conferences. Never go for the crazy people vote. You end up in this kind of hellish nightmare.
-
Was Scheer not born in Canada? If so, how could he be a "US citizen"? He was a dual citizen. Do you have some sort of context for this comment?
-
I agree 100%. It was all due to their little dispute with the British, I would assume.
-
The irony in the above statement is just unbelievable. My ignorance. Wow. Just wow.
-
Dude, we are never going to agree on this. If you honestly think that Scheer's team are a bunch of racists, I truly feel sorry for you. You refuse to acknowledge this incredibly important point - it was Blackface boy who made himself the poster boy for Woke PC nonsense. Not any of these Conservatives you seem obsessed with. Therein lies the hypocrisy. Trudeau is the one that demanded anyone not meeting the PC guidelines he himself was a big part of putting in place be banished. And yet he refuses to hold himself to the same standards. That is a MASSIVE distinction. I am not cutting anyone a free pass, other than Blackface himself, because HE is the one that needs to resign, more than anyone else. Like the above though, we are never going to agree on this. Blackface idiot will continue to be the leader of the Liberals. He won't resign. And this issue will, and should, dog him forever. Yes, when it comes to inventing fake racist ties, you are very consistent.
-
yes, because this is silly disingenuous made up clap-trap. "Racist ties" - come on man, you don't seriously believe this nonsense. Yes, because they are sorry. But I'm not the one demanding that they resign, then getting caught with blackface, MULTIPLE times. Therein lies the rub. I can accept Trudeau's apology (in my case, only if he resigns, only because of the bar he himself set for others) but I can also accept the apology from others too if they genuinely are sorry for past actions. Makes sense. No one is perfect. So much from the past when viewed through the current PC lens is now "racist" and "homophobic". Fine. People learn from their mistakes. They stop covering themselves in shoe polish and wearing afro wigs. And we move on as a society and are better for it. Now you are getting it. That's exactly it. If you can forgive Blackface for his horrible indiscretions, then everyone should be forgiven, as long as they show contrition.

The governor general didn't allow the coup d'tat to proceed, unlike here in BC where the lieutenant governor awarded the government to the NDP, even though they had no mandate.
-
No, it's not hypocritical at all. Did I forgive Trudeau for this act of pure stupidity? No. I think that he should resign. His hypocrisy is just too severe and stinky otherwise. He's got zero integrity. That I can't forgive. But it seems others can forgive him, and good on them. They can forgive Blackface boy. It would be nice if they could be so forgiving for those of other political stripes too, who have committed far far less indiscretions than Blackface.
-
My feelings are the other way. I want a break from the 4 year shitshow we've had to endure from Blackface Trudeau and his Tides Foundation jerks that are his puppet-masters. No more of those dark days thank you. I do think though that the only way we get a break from the dark days we are enduring is a Conservative majority. Otherwise we'll have the Libs and New Dems gang up and form a government like the NDP and Greens did here in BC.
-
No. Justin Trudeau is the hypocrite here actually.
-
no we don't. If we had that rule, John A. Macdonald would have just been a lawyer and never entered politics. And Canada would have been poorer for it. In fact, we may not even have existed as a country.
-
Elizabeth May was born in the US, and her Green Party is supported by US environmental groups, who purposely sabotage Canadian ability to find other markets for our oil.
-
yes, he should, because like the Blackface nonsense, once again Trudeau is being exposed as a giant hypocrite. Well worth noting, for those that are capable of looking out behind partisan blinders. What does this statement even mean? What "plan" could someone running a tiny country (population wise) have for "climate change", whatever that even means? I have heard Scheer talk about using technological advances to help with this issue (if you in fact believe in this unproven hypothesis) and to me, that's far better than taxing people into oblivion, for no benefit to anyone anywhere. I don't get this comment at all. Trudeau is a giant vacuous hypocrite. It just baffles me how people fall all over themselves excusing this imbecile, over and over again.

Around The NHL 2019/2020
kelownabomberfan replied to FrostyWinnipeg's topic in Winnipeg Jets Discussion
There was a reason Bogo, Trouba and Enstrom all suddenly were "injured" and disappeared for a month back in 2014... -
I did - I met him here in Kelowna, and I saw him at a Rider-Lions game this summer.
-
any word on Buff? What's happening??
-
THIS election, last election they were just outright lying about balancing the budget. They have realized that they can run big deficits, and their followers will just blindly accept this as normal and ok.
-
Changed my answer when I saw that you had recanted on this horrible comment.
-
Yes I expect the 2020 Spengler Cup will be featuring a line of JC Lipon, Nic Petan and Patrice Cormier. Interestingly enough, all three of those guys played for Canada at various times at the World Junior championships.

Just watched Nik Nanos on CTV this morning. Millennials are leaving the Liberals in droves and moving to the Greens. Support from 30 and unders in Canada dropped 10% in the past week for the Liberals, and Justin Trudeau is losing his "preferred leader" status to Scheer (about time!!!). They are calling this the "Greta effect", as she called out Trudeau on his environmental record. I specifically am not voting Liberal for many reasons, including them now acknowledging that their deficit spending is going to be out of control. At least they are finally admitting it.
-
a lot of the Left have forgiven him, completely. This double-standard must end. All should be forgiven, when they apologize. Do you not agree with this?
-
so what? If these people apologized, then they are on par (or much less guilty) than Blackface Justin Trudeau on the spectrum of committing horrific racist acts. Would you extend them the same courtesy of forgiveness if they showed contrition? If not why not? Pure partisanship? Hamish is not a racist, and smearing him like this is just so beyond the pale that it really is sad. Just embarrassingly so.
-
The breaking point for me was the constant virtue signaling and empty promises in 2015 that I knew he would never keep. The Blackface thing is just more interesting because it has exposed a ton of hypocrisy on the Left. Like how Trudeau can be forgiven after apologizing, and yet still babble on about "racist ties" in the Conservatives despite apologies also coming from them as well. This just makes no sense, and is disingenuous. See, this just isn't true at all. Why are you saying these things? You are just embarrassing yourself. It was incredibly damaging. The biggest thing that it accomplished was it took away all of this nonsense about how the Conservatives "have ties to racism" (totally false) as now, we have seen what a giant racist Trudeau is. So let's forgive everyone for past indiscretions, and move forward, and talk about actual issues. Which of course favors the Conservatives, as the Liberals have served up a terrible record. They could think this, but they'd be thinking something incredibly false (racist policy makers? Really? You want to go with something that silly?) instead of just acknowledging the truth, which is everyone makes mistakes, and everyone deserves to have their apologies heard and believed. Everyone.
