Hearing that Trevor Harris is more cut from the pocket-passer cloth and Zach Collaros is more athletic and able to make something from nothing confirms what we've been seeing and hearing here too. Hadn't heard about Collaros' throwing motion though. Interesting. It's ironic to think that for the first time in my life, the Argos may actually be developing viable CFL starter QBs... but that they likely won't get to start here.

what in their play gave you that impression? from the statline they were very even... Collaros: 9-12, 95 yds, 1 TD (TD after taking poss on the Bomber 16 yd line) Harris: 8-11, 115 yds (lead drives that produced 1 FGA and 1 rushing TD)

quite awhile back now. i brought it up in the preseason when Aprile was changed to Safety.

The starters are set for pretty much every position on offence except maybe an import receiver spot (or two). So most of the guys that are in Winnipeg are there to earn (or keep) a backup spot. On defence, the DE spots and a few DB spots are being contested. The nominal starters will get their play time at Varsity next week against the Smelly Cats.

somehow i question whether making: "this is the forum that Dave is posting in" is the optimum expansion strategy... glad it worked for somebody though.
