quite awhile back now. i brought it up in the preseason when Aprile was changed to Safety.

The starters are set for pretty much every position on offence except maybe an import receiver spot (or two). So most of the guys that are in Winnipeg are there to earn (or keep) a backup spot. On defence, the DE spots and a few DB spots are being contested. The nominal starters will get their play time at Varsity next week against the Smelly Cats.

somehow i question whether making: "this is the forum that Dave is posting in" is the optimum expansion strategy... glad it worked for somebody though.

thanks for the clarification. i was prepared to be stunned if the stadium debt interest was 2.3%... so they've factored in an expected 2.3% hike on tickets each year? my inner-cynic (and my basic understanding of the law of supply and demand) believes that will be higher if the season ticket base stays at record levels.

if so, count on them running up a massive debt and tripling the size of their own bureaucracy over the next few years while giving themselves and their unionized employees ridiculous wages and benefits packages...

they should pay that fan in free season tickets in exchange for that design. i love those.
