3 turds play CH stink stank stunk 3 in a row
Mark H. replied to wbbfan's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
It's scary when look at who the Argos were starting on OL and at QB. If they'd ground out a close win, that would be one thing. But the Bombers never even had a chance to win. And I'd say the casual fans have clued in by now. -
Just popping in to say...I'm as disappointed as any of you. I get that things are said in the heat of the moment...but some of the posts making poking fun at the Case injury...be better

Absolutely. If this continues, Manitobans will vote with their feet. Hotdogs and beer can be had anywhere.

A good veteran backup

No one picked Montreal. May as well call a spade a spade - O'Shea is to blame.

IMWT regurgitation. I mean hey, why not? On second thought, show yourself out. 😁

3 turds plus cranky honker don’t say roster management edition
Mark H. replied to wbbfan's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Exactly. Other than the a few games where ZC connected on several deep shots, this has been our O. When an opposing D can limit the downfield stuff, it's not pretty -
I meant it as a positive
-
And, as usual, they have done a ton of off season recruiting

Interesting. Who's he going to discipline?

Check out Hamilton's DL, just for starters -
I'm 40 yards from the LOS, but imma rush the QB!

Speaks volumes.

Post 2019, it was nothing but loyalists. No alarms were being raised yet, no grief was being handed out.
-
And I agree with that. But 2019-2021 was far more than luck.
-
I need to remind that there was a time when you also opined that things were good, and expounded at length on how O'Shea's culture attracts players. It was not just media sound bites, there was a time when players legit wanted to play in Winnipeg.
-
It's surreal that the people who managed this team / roster from 2018-2021, are same people who have been managing it from 2022 to the present. They had: culture, depth, Canadians, developed a QB (Brown), a physical team, etc. How do you consciously decide to stray away from that blueprint?
-
Maybe they need to 'see it on film.'
-
There's something seriously wrong with this team's approach to injuries. All the way back to the 2023 GC
-
Haven't you heard? We have no subs, they're all starters.

This, to me, is the bigger concern. I am fine with them not being active players in free agency. I am not fine with bringing in talented new recruits who don't play.
-
Pardon me for quelling lamentations of lamenters who want to continue lamenting...but no one signs fewer FAs than the Argos. Their Grey Cup record...enough said.

Or he can coach proper contain techniques - was a master at that.
