  1. Aren't you cute. Two plays back to back with our heavy set on the Hamilton 2 yard line .. 55 minute mark .. and please don't try to tell me we weren't trying to punch it in right from the get go or that short yardage means that we're only trying to pick up a single yard or some nonsense like that. Let's not be disingenuous. The offense and Pigrome failed to convert on back to back plays and Pigrome never saw the field again in short yardage situations.
  2. It was back to back plays at the goal line. A single yard on 2nd and 2 and stuffed on 3rd and 1. He never saw the field again after that. And let’s not be condescending .. I know how short yardage works.
  3. Twice in the same drive but who’s counting.
  4. He also goes on to say that this is hand fighting and that it’s a slippery slope to make those calls. Not only did the DB run through the receiver but he’s restricting him from making a play on the ball. Not hand fighting. It’s a bad take (and it should have been PI). Don’t apologize for shitty officiating - demand more of them and the league.
  5. I’ll pour one for my fellow Mods who have to wade through it all. 🍺
  6. I’m a firm believer that if it comes down to a couple of plays, that you’ve left in the hands of the refs, you didn’t do enough to win the game. I agree though .. terrible spot on the Streveler sneak and unless they blew the play dead early, he was never really down. He was on top of a few bodies (it looked that way to me). The non-PI call was brutal but it’s the inconsistency in officiating that’s infuriating.
  7. A few random thoughts: I’ll admit I see things through the lens of a losing season but far too often the refs / CC are making themselves part of the game (and not in a good way). The interior of our offensive line is bad. It won’t matter who we line up behind center if they don’t start playing better or if we don’t make a change there. I’m not sold on Eli, he’s shown the same tendencies each time he’s had a chance to step in .. great in the run game and has his feet in cement while in pass pro. Buck isn’t helping things either and the offense looks incredibly stale. All of these things compound on each other. When was the last time we’ve had this many injuries in a season? Healthy we probably look better but it would only serve to mask some of what we’re seeing on offense. Johnson shouldn’t be on the field and Wilson needs to get out of his head and just play ball. Sergio .. you’re dead to me (again) that was brutal tonight. Was in as a receiver on the play.
  8. He’s arguing, in part, because you carry on like O’Shea pissed in your cornflakes - it’s wearisome. I value your perspective and agree with many things but honestly dude, give it a rest. While knowledgeable, your opinion is just that .. an opinion. It means no more than anyone else’s so please stop behaving like a child out to win internet points and carry yourself like the grown ass man you purport to be. Constantly shouting down posters who disagree with you (or who have a different opinion than you) does more to discourage discussion than encourage it.
  9. They allowed Prukop to throw more passes. I just don’t get it.
  10. If you can’t get a yard in the CFL when it matters you don’t deserve to win. No issue with the call.
  11. The more I watch this season the more I’m convinced they had no plan for Streveler when they signed him.
  12. Demski got his head taken off while that ball was in the air.
  13. Every player is going to lose a rep in a game. Kramdi played well tonight.
  14. I like that we went for it but HATE the execution.
  15. There’s not going to be enough to over turn this.
  16. There’s no way that’s PI but this is the CFL after all.
  17. It SHOULD be over turned. McFadden wearing Demski like a suit.
  18. I won’t give Zach a pass but Neufeld playing patty cake with D linemen doesn’t help him any.
  19. It’s so painful watching the interior of our offensive line.
  20. He’s settled down a lot since the start of the seasons. He’s athletic, relatively fluid and not afraid to be physical. What we are seeing now is why I liked him so much his rookie season with us and wished he got more play time.
  21. Come on Buck. Let the man throw a ******* pass. Let’s not telegraph every play when Strev is in.
