  1. Guys .. let’s keep the discussion on football. If you want to discuss the pros and cons of working from home, do it in General. Moved a number of posts there.
  2. Relying on the automatic review of a scoring play.
  3. We have to sort out our protection issues. For all the scrutiny Bryant’s play earned last week, Grey was the one on the interior who struggled. That carried over to our first drive this week.
  4. I think he tucked it and ran because he had pressure in his face right away.
  5. This is going to be a tough game against a solid Montreal team.
  6. And that may be his problem .. all he might be is a glorified RB. So all things being equal .. do you take the guy who has proven he can move the chains, pick up a first down and score on a goalline plunge or do you put your chips in with the guy who was stuffed .. repeatedly .. then never saw the field again because the coaches didn't have faith in him? I'm not losing sleep over Pigrome not being here because frankly, if we are ever starting our third string quarterback things have gone off the rails in a BIG way and I'd rather give whatever meaningful game reps that are "left over" from Collaros to the next guy in line, Dru Brown.
  7. BC might be a better team (or at least a more balanced / even keeled team) this year WITHOUT Rourke than with him. Let me explain - last year they were certainly explosive, were able to put up gaudy numbers and (if I'm being objective) were probably the most potent passing offence in the CFL up until Rourke went down. With that said, Rourke was still a rookie. He had his ups and downs. Confidence (especially against us) was fickle and he was prone to making those rookie mistakes, the ones a seasoned quarterback wouldn't make. Adams on the other hand has been around the block. He's seen a lot. Worked through a lot and while he's not a world beater, he has a very solid team around him. He won't lose games or make the same mistakes a rookie might. You won't get the highs but you won't get the lows either. I genuinely think we are going to be hard pressed to keep pace with the Lions this year.
  8. We aren’t letting them do **** .. BC simply wants this more. They are taking this game.
  9. He has but he shouldn’t be THEE guy out there. He’s not the most sure tackler, he’a not a difference maker, he’s steady most times but that’s it .. there’s no punch defensively tonight.
  10. When Clements is one of the better parts of our defence .. something has gone incredibly wrong.
  11. Need a play on defence .. problem is, no playmakers.
  12. 15 is ******* terrible and I’ll repeat what I said earlier … they need to get VA off his spot.
  13. Starts and ends with execution (and to a lesser degree a lack of effort / push). On offence, Zach has had pressure in his face consistently and even when he evades it, he’s off target or receivers aren’t coming up with those clutch catches we are used to. On defence, our corners are giant liabilities and the HBs seem like they’re trying to do too much. When the D gets Adams off his spot they have a chance but this is NOT the Bomber D of past years.
  14. The Elks are terrible. Solid defence but they are hamstrung by a terrible offence and head coach who has no clue how to support or allow an offence to be successful. Jones’s ego won’t allow that team to achieve what it can. It’s such a bad look for the league to have any team flounder like this. No wonder younger fans are tuning out.
  15. Augustine has to lower his pads and grind out the hard yards.
  16. Holm has to force him out of bounds but Lawrence was LAZY trying to get off that block.
  17. Missed an offside there but Brady ran right behind the pressure for a nice gain.
  18. More a guy who relies on athleticism rather than solid fundamentals. Robert Bean 2.0
