Masoli break out game, oh ya itโs just the Riders LOL ๐
-
Could be a good one, in five years ๐
-
Yes! ALS lose a stinker ๐
-
Lawler breaks the TD drought.
-
Fixed it for you ๐ Brutal offence so far this game, and thatโs being positive.
-
Left to catch a bit of the Blue Jays then turned over to the NHL Draft. Still 1-1 haha.
-
So far a 1-1 barnburner LOL.
-
Want the ALS to lose but seeing Lawler go 0-3 would sooth my football spirits just as well ๐๐๐ป
-
Make sure you add salt to that crow guys ๐๐ป
-
Lawler and Ford 0 fer so far.

If not for that late TD, which made this game look closer than it was, weโre talking about a three score win. If BO gets back and our ratio allows for the same line as game one, Zach will be more than good enough. Plus weโre playing the Elks this week so thereโs that as well ๐๐ป

Next year the Jets or any other team will have to really lay it on the line to beat the Panthers๐

Nothing new, this has been mentioned ad nauseam, but the Oilers are as good as they are going to get with the limited salary they can fill out their depth with. I read that 40% of their current salary goes to two players, with the remaining 60% left to build a solid team around them. As weโve seen in the last five seasons, it doesnโt work. Bomber fans saw that last season as two receivers made almost 500 grand! Talent but balance like the Panthers have (albeit with tax advantages etc) is the way to win in sport today. A solid core of stars with great draft talent and solid pick ups will win over a few superstars. Not sure the Edmonton management has accepted this truth yet, as they will run it back one more season before McDavid signs in Toronto ๐

Blue Bombers - 2025 Regular Season - Discussion Thread

He never has a sniff. -
Glad to read that BO may not be injured as much as many have speculated. That being said, rest him until heโs ready to punish and go with the young guy. Excited about Wheatfall, the less greedy Lawler ๐

Oh man, letโs hope so ๐ฅบ -
This might be fake ๐

maybe someone could redo this for the riders, forever suck ๐คฃ

Hate to say this but I pin that loss on the crappy, predictable offence we were running last season (and realistically the other two recent Grey Cup losses). Our defence didnโt have their best showing on that day for sure, but Iโm very glad we have a new O coordinator this year (flame away Buckistans ๐).

He played well but he still was a big contributor to the Ticats loss. His easy drop of an important first down pass from BLM, ended up giving the ball back to the Riders who promptly scored the winning points. As he discovered when he went to Edmonton for the same reason a few years back, it ainโt all about the money ๐โโ๏ธ

Mitchell tosses a pick, heโd better watch out or he may get Rourkeโs title as the Best (not really) QB in the league.

Both teams are putting on a Bad Football clinic. Oops thereโs a Rider missed FG ๐

Canadians V Senators, I mean Als/Redblacks game thread
Bomberguy replied to rebusrankin's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
I agree, but Ottawa has played this way with their starter too many times to count, to not see an alarming trend. Plus, we just won against the best(?) QB in the league with our banged up backup ๐ Marcel D was a piece of something alright, but you canโt argue with winning a Cup so early in the history of a new team. -
Canadians V Senators, I mean Als/Redblacks game thread
Bomberguy replied to rebusrankin's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
I thought at times the last few years that Ottawa was going to make some steps forward, only to be disappointed by either the lack of talent in many areas (not #1QB or receiver), coaching, or bizarre management decisions (why pay a receiver so much when you need a much better Oline, and a revamped D?). I guess it took Osh and company 5 years to get their Cup and be a perennial power. Not sure I feel the Redblacks can get there with this current regime. Time will tell I guess.
