  1. Think this applies to the whole team. I’m surprised they kept it close as long as they did against a Rider team that is far more talented. the heart of the problem right now.
  2. He blew it. Getting beat or gaffe, pick your language.
  3. Vaval continues to look better than expected at corner. on the other hand, the big gaffes today have been by newish players Wallace and Allen.
  4. Was he not three yards offside on that touchdown?
  5. Schoen was invisible this year even before his injury.
  6. Clutch drive with key guys injured. Whipping boys Hogan, Collaros deserve some credit.
  7. Lapo has been great in the booth today. Actually dissecting what each team is doing. By far TSN’s best
  8. Just me or is 27 getting beat like a rented mule tonight?
  9. Indeed .. Bonds’ play has sure dropped off. Opportunity for someone to take that spot and never give it back. Bonds out for season per Schnitzer
  10. I’m confused as to why Kelly was on the field so much. Was he the dime? Was this always the plan or what the bombers had to do when Bonds went down and Vaval went in for him?
  11. This argument is flawed in so many ways. CFL teams are constantly cycling through other team’s cuts, at least the intriguing ones, because they are all familiar with largely the same pool of players. The ones who are cut and never heard from again? Usually there’s a reason. This take is a way to avoid ever saying you were wrong in getting excited about a camp cut. Hamilton is winning because of former Bombers? Other than Lawler, what difference maker have they brought in? Their D stinks and I don’t think Johnny Augustine and Drew Wolitarsky (who hasn’t started) make opposition coaches shudder.
  12. This argument would hold more water if the training camp darlings who were cut went on to great things. O’Shea wears a couple of Grey Cup losses for sure for playing badly injured guys. I didn’t see roster or in game decisions today that justify “worst coaching in the league hyperbole.”
  13. As much as it’s easy to say “bad coaching cost us the game” and the usual “Jake Thomas and too many linebackers on The roster is why we lost,” the fact is this team isn’t very talented. Receivers are below average, Collaros, Bryant and Streveler aren’t what they used to be. Dline doesn’t scare anyone, and we lost our starting corners. This season looks more on Walters than O’Shea at this point.
  14. Alternative take: down 2 on the road against a good team doesn’t mean sky is falling.
  15. Feel like Demski went out of bounds too easy there
  16. At this point no harm in trying him. But I’m not too excited about a veteran who shows up to camp out of shape and unwilling or unable to absorb the playbook at the same rate as the others.
  17. Who was it that had the temerity to nickname Jones “Butt an’ Gut”? Was that West? 😆
  18. Wallace played fine but the Bombers run game was weak in both those games he started. The OL absolutely dominated with Vanterpol starting. Maybe that’s why he’s back in. 🤔
  19. Man Masoli is awful
  20. Nice to see actual analysis start to appear on TSN from Wilson, sometimes Lapolice.
  21. Watching this Hamilton-Sask game .. why didn’t Walters sign Lawler again? Just didn’t want to change course late in FA after hearing the cap was higher? If that’s all, what a boner that was
  22. This take I can get behind. it’s the constant negativity of some posters, basically making O’Shea out to be a simpleton who plays old, injured guys just because he likes them that gets tiresome. Thursday was a fabulous game that I didn’t expect the Bombers to win, especially once Brady went down. Surely O’Shea gets some credit for that, even from posters who don’t like him?
  23. Bombers beat Lions without top qb and rb .. local dude who posts all day every day says it shows O’Shea can’t coach. Carry on.
