  1. At this point no harm in trying him. But I’m not too excited about a veteran who shows up to camp out of shape and unwilling or unable to absorb the playbook at the same rate as the others.
  2. Who was it that had the temerity to nickname Jones “Butt an’ Gut”? Was that West? 😆
  3. Wallace played fine but the Bombers run game was weak in both those games he started. The OL absolutely dominated with Vanterpol starting. Maybe that’s why he’s back in. 🤔
  4. Man Masoli is awful
  5. Nice to see actual analysis start to appear on TSN from Wilson, sometimes Lapolice.
  6. Watching this Hamilton-Sask game .. why didn’t Walters sign Lawler again? Just didn’t want to change course late in FA after hearing the cap was higher? If that’s all, what a boner that was
  7. This take I can get behind. it’s the constant negativity of some posters, basically making O’Shea out to be a simpleton who plays old, injured guys just because he likes them that gets tiresome. Thursday was a fabulous game that I didn’t expect the Bombers to win, especially once Brady went down. Surely O’Shea gets some credit for that, even from posters who don’t like him?
  8. Bombers beat Lions without top qb and rb .. local dude who posts all day every day says it shows O’Shea can’t coach. Carry on.
  9. What a game. Loved: Streveler. Vaval. Peterson. Wheatfall. The holes that beastly o-line opened all night long. Hogan’s playcalling
  10. Yawn. Roster released, panic ensues as several fans who have never seen players in question play call out one of most successful Bomber coaches in history for his decisions. Throw in some Jake hate for good measure.
  11. It’s possible the coaches told him to run it back to get another look at him. Wouldn’t likely have happened in regular season
  12. Let’s see him show it. He can’t just play mediocre football and everything get blamed on coaching. as for this: “Heart...guts...attitude and ability to have guys follow him is also key.” By that maxim, Bighill and Alexander should still be on the team (and they shouldn’t either).
  13. This would be a welcome surprise but falls into the realm of fantasy. Streveler has never been a competent passer and last year’s narrative that he would be better due to NFL coaching also proved untrue. more concerning, he was nowhere near the beast he was in 2019 running the ball. Not sure what Streveler brings in 2025. I’m much more intrigued about seeing what Wilson brings.
  14. I would have liked to see Woli stay but I think him being cut has at least something to do with Clercius, who has passed him. Drew I think was healthy for the GC, albeit rusty, and there was no rush to put him on the field. Maybe $110,000 for a backup NI who has been getting nicked was too much for Walters
  15. Yes, and Strev isn’t what he was anyway. We don’t need to bring him back just to be an inspirational character.
  16. Wish we could get 2019 Streveler back
  17. I will be watching CFL all day. EF until it’s time to go to the stadium. i try to watch every minute of every cfl game. I haven’t watched a whole jets game on tv for years. not sure why entirely. But hockey on tv is boring to me. picks: Toronto and Winnipeg
  18. Two guys I wonder about on that list - Hubert and Parker. How did they fall out of favor? Maybe Hubert’s stats were better than his actual play? No idea why Parker isn’t playing unless he truly is injured.
  19. Whenever we clinch, I hope O’Shea starts Zach every remaining game. Doesn’t have to play more than a half but needs to play every week. Yea, there’s a risk of injury. The greater risk imho is that we see rusty playoff Zach for another year.
  20. Great push by Thomas there. Yes Thomas.
  21. What exactly does Strev bring to this team? It was obvious in 2019. But this is 2024
  22. How is that a hold on Jones? He plowed his man to the ground like he should. No holding
  23. fixed it for you. Hasn’t rushed all year as well as Prukop did last season.
  24. Agree with most of this. Except I’ve liked what I see from Case. Haven’t looked closely at his averages but he catches the ball and runs hard. Seems like a matter of time before he breaks one, if blockers can give him a seam. Nothing wrong with letting Lucky field some kicks too. Think he was on the KR unit yesterday.
