  1. Sort of. We had some bad turnovers, and some lucky/great plays by the DBs but I feel like Ticats were fortunate to not be shitkicked like 2019. If Evans hadn’t got hurt I don’t think Hamilton even makes that game close. Masoli had the Bombers number over the years. Also, after the second pick Zach actually caught fire and played really well the rest of that game, something that didn’t happen at all in the 2 losses.
  2. If they do that, we should sign Oullette
  3. By far the best and most comfortable pair of pants I’ve ever owned. Fwiw I also have a pink and black pair that were gifted to me and my daughter (with matching Hart Foundation shirts) when she was a baby.
  4. I’m always on the hunt to replace my authentic Harv-Al #21 James Murphy jersey that I’d found at a Value Village ages ago. It was ruined by a mouse infestation in a garage at an old place I lived. Other than that, last time I bought a brand new jersey the Bombers lost a playoff game, so it ain’t happening. I’m superstitious as all ****. I’ll wear my 50’s retro Stegall for the regular season games, or other old ones that’s it. Playoffs and GC it’s Bomber t-shirts and hats. My best merch isn’t even Bomber licensed but I got a pair of blue and gold 90’s style Zubaz pants.
  5. Thanks for the explanation, for real. You clearly have an above average knowledge of OL and DL play.
  6. I guess the second one wasn’t quite as bad. Reynolds dropped that ball sure, but going for it at that point was situationally insane.
  7. What a boneheaded couple of decisions from Dan Campbell. If you’re up by 14 on the road in the playoffs, you take the bloody points to make it a 3 score game, and to make the same call again the next quarter… Campbell turned that franchise around, but my goodness. That was one of the dumbest hours I’ve seen anyone have in this sport. I feel terrible for the Detroit fans, their own coach just cost them a super bowl berth. It’s the negative image of 2016 MOS attempting that 78 yard field goal or whatever it was instead of going for it on 3rd and 3.
  8. God forbid but if Wade ever retired from the Bombers I think he’d make a great commissioner.
  9. An overpaid guard who can only run block on a team that doesn’t run the ball lol
  10. The pattern of letting DT’s walk I guess. I wouldn’t mind if he was back or anything.
  11. Top 3 surprises if brought back. 1. Kolo 2. Walker 3. Houston Most important FA besides Dalton/Brady, to me it’s Jeffcoat. At full health he’s even more dominant than Willie. Even with the 10-15 games we get out of him now, it’s a different D when he’s on the field.
  12. Carey’s gonna give you 6 games at MOP level and either sit/play banged up for the other 12. As part of a RB committee I think he’d do well here, but not a guy I’d break the bank for
  13. Pfft, probably gave him a Hortons Card and a tote bag, called it a restructuring. Toronto and BC sign whoever they want anyway. “Cap space” lol
  14. I really hope they find/draft/sign a normal traditional punter this year. Just get a guy who can kick well directionally without the bouncy gimmick stuff and isn’t going to have a **** hemorrhage if it’s windy. Yeah I’m not sure what the criteria for that list is, but there sure are some god-awful employers on there.
  15. Fwiw Ayers turns into a really solid end in Madden
  16. No. He’s dead to us all. Burn the stadium down. He’s been on the neg list for a while no?
  17. Thomas-Erlington would be decent depth. No thanks to AML. Definitely no to either as starters. Either would be roughly the same salary as Augustine though, if not more. I think it’s a moot point anyway. I couldn’t see them sticking with a Canadian RB if Olivera goes. If it comes down to one or the other, it’s Schoen over Olivera and that’s a no-brainer to me.
  18. I actually think the same of Dolegala. To be honest he looked like he could have a decent ceiling on a team that isn’t trash.
  19. I like it. We beat Ottawa in the 25 GC at home. Collaros retires. Brown sees what he missed and comes back here to run 1/2 with Streveler for another 5 years.
  20. For the record, a silly twitter post isn’t going to change the fact that Brady is an outstanding human being. I’m sure everyone can agree there. https://www.thegridironcrew.com/marcus-hillman-2023-pro-prospect-interview/?amp=1 Here’s an interview with Marcus Hillman, one of the latest signings
  21. I can’t stand the term “reset the market”. It’s a capped market, all that does is take away from another area (or from another angle, one’s own teammates) I’d rather see a balanced roster than a reset market star alongside a bunch of jobbers. We lived through that in the 90s and 2000’s, paying 2-3 skill players and nobody else.
  22. Or a legit 3rd edge rusher as to not gas out the Jeffs. Willie is one of my top 5 all timers but let’s be realistic, he’s useless when he’s tired out. Starts loping around, trying to make up the energy by using his feet instead of his body. Jeffcoat too, dominant but needs to be spelled more, bum hip won’t hold out for 18 games There’s no excuse not to have at least a 7 man rotation on the DL this year.
  23. No one is turning on Brady. I’ve kind of turned on his agent though to be honest. I get trying to max out value, but all the NFL talk is just stupid.
  24. Oof. Yeah, they’re done for.
