  1. even little things. When was the last time you saw the team take advantage of a loophole or rule? When was the last time they did anything innovative at all?
  2. That’s EXACTLY it, and it insults me as a fan. I’ve seen enough close games, I want dominant, cutthroat win at all costs, humiliate the other team football.
  3. I’m sure he doesn’t like losing, but MOS really, really gives the impression he prefers close games above anything, and isn’t particularly bothered by a close loss. He appears to be satisfied with the “chance to win” a lot of the time. Again, I’m sure that’s not exactly the case, but it’s how he comes across.
  4. “I’m a little Kolo, short and stout. I’ve reached the ceiling, please take me out. When I get a bull rush, hear me shout. Tip me over, it’s 2 and out” Me- July 20, 2023. Almost a year later and Eli is STILL sitting What a joke.
  5. Yeah any team that’s good over multiple generations of players gives guys like Neufeld the old ultimatum before/during camp. I don’t remember a game in the last year where I didn’t see Kolo get knocked on his pratt at least once. He looks like the passive fat kid that gets put on the OL in peewee just because.
  6. Oh no doubt this is going to get way worse. IF they make all the right choices moving forward, they’re still screwed by injuries for a good month it looks like. Any kind of turnaround won’t happen in the summer now imo. Most realistic path is them figuring it out after LD and sneaking into the playoffs. Starting to look more and more like a lost season leading into a full on rebuild though, and it was completely, completely avoidable.
  7. “We’ve got a lot of good players. They’re good…they’re just….really good” -MOS actually
  8. Another thing that got buggered up in TC. Rosery would have been a nice addition to the O last night.
  9. Oh for sure, it’s pro sports. There’s gotta be some form of pressure. The guys that used to “lead the room” are the ones who aren’t showing any accountability on the field and the coach doesn’t want to make room for younger leaders. Bad recipe. I’ll change the Ritchie quote here. Every starter over 33 years old is worth one lost game.
  10. Great point, I’d forgotten all about Ford.
  11. Just tell MOS you know how to long snap
  12. As much as I hate Osh’s pressers, what else is he gonna say there? “He was ****” That being said “Best chance to win” talk always makes me want to puke
  13. I think he was handed the rotational spot then. We had 2 guys who showed more imo. They should have used him more in the passing game as well. He was godawful in pro, at least run him out on a swing or in the flats.
  14. I don’t think any of us can pretend that. The coaching staff on the other hand…
  15. Agree on that as a statement. Slightly disagree in relation to Haba in particular, a more solid DE could handle more reps. If they’re going to be stubborn and only dress 5/6, that’s where I think Haba is definitely not the answer.
  16. He also comes across as a horses ass on the field FWIW
  17. There’s something to this. Andrew in particular, his whole life has had that intangible. He brings something extra, unquantifiable.
  18. I’m starting to come up with this theory that O’Shea had the time of his life on the 2004 Argos and everything he does roster-wise is a vain attempt to recreate it. He also disappeared for long stretches. My point was more like that he or anyone isn’t going to be the answer if they’re taking more than 50% of the reps in a game at that spot. IMO, Haba would be most effective with 15-20 snaps. He’s not big enough to get pounded by OTs for more than that.
  19. That’s just it. They let bloody Dakota Proukop throw a deep ball in the Grey cup yet there’s nothing for the guy who’s actually proven to be able to complete them? WTAF?
  20. If they feel they have to stand pat for whatever misguided reason, I’d give Wilson a game returning punts over Mitchell again. He’s the one that’s got to go for sure. Ideally they’re both off the roster though.
  21. He’s gotta be hurt. Please tell me they can’t be that stupid not to use him in the exact situation they brought him back for right? We’d be better off with just Brown at this point.
  22. JA can return kickoffs but not punts. The only other proven punt returner we have is Demski, which no way should happen. I’d send both Mitchell and Wilson packing for sure. Bring in Worthy. Even Ronnie Blackmon again, or anyone. At some point someone who doesn’t perform has to lose their job.
  23. Doesn’t help when you draft run blocking maulers and don’t run the ball. Maybe instead of trying to create the next Walby personality, they should have looked at guys that excelled in pass pro in college ball. I wonder if there’s a team MOS hates? Like one that would make him think long and hard about what he’s doing, were they to embarrass us. Calgary maybe?
  24. I didn’t see Dobson get mandhandled, but I saw him lost on a few occasions. Jogging up to the soup at the end of running plays. Standing upright looking around on a couple others.
  25. Actually, in retrospect only, our drafting has been pretty miss last few years. Passed up Nicastro to take Dobson for one example. Took Anthony Bennett in the first round over literally anyone else. There’s been some mistakes Thing is, Kongbo aged too, like all the guys we’re pissed about. We need impact players 26 and under. That’s what’s missing the most.
