  1. I agree. I have to admit I have a chip on my shoulder when it comes to cannabis terminology and myths on the subject in general. I suppose it comes from spending a good portion of my life under the societal narrative that the one thing that helped my mental health, and quite honestly probably saved my life, made me a criminal in the eyes of many. Sorry to get off topic guys… Anyhow, bringing back great depth/ST like Hallett is always great. Total glue guy.
  2. Anyone at the rally? We were going to go, but the covid seems to be getting bad again and with a 3 month old at home, we couldn’t justify it. I watched most of it on YT. Some really great visuals. Rasheed Baileys speech made me tear up.
  3. THIS. How in the world is he not in there?
  4. Reactive at best. Maliciously incompetent at worst. Another Christmas in the trenches..
  5. Justin Holland had one nice preseason game and I myself was sold on him lol. Saw a lot of QB “prospects” back then through blue and beer tinted glasses. Adam Dimachel, Russ Michna and Bryan Randall also come to mind.
  6. FYI Nasty Nate is Lyle E Style on the CFL.ca forums, which by the way is as brutal as the comments section of any newspaper. NorthCarloinaBomber I thought was the solo last poster on OB
  7. We’ve come a long way from hand wringing over weather or not they’d re-sign Aaron Fiaconni
  8. I remember listening to that game on the radio. When they took a knee, Bob Irving was as mad as I’d ever heard him. “That’s just STUPID FOOTBALL”
  9. Interesting for sure. I haven’t been to any sporting events since before the pandemic. I wonder how the general atmosphere in the world these days contributes to a crowd psyche like that? Public places definitely have a more tense air about them the last couple years
  10. Kevin Glenn’s arm, Dunnigan’s pass off the upright, Khari getting driven into the turf. Nate Davis pantomiming taking a piss on our logo and that godforsaken boat.. I don’t feel bad for any other CFL fanbase ever. Everyone else can suck an egg.
  11. Yeah I could see him being a good-great backup QB. As a starter he’s just a bible thumping version of Dan LeFevour
  12. It happened far before my time so I never really got the big deal either. I just mentioned it in there cause it’s been shown 19 million times, and Saskatchewan loses. "I'm sick to my stomach," Banks said. "I don't know, it's hard to put into words. It's a sick feeling. Obviously the only thing that can heal this is time."😂 At least for his sake, this time his stomach doesn’t hurt from Mike Jones giving him a hernia.
  13. I want to revel in their misery! Personally, without a doubt. Objectively it’s gotta be at least up there with Tony Gabriel’s Sask-beater, Eddie Brown’s shoe catch and Ploen’s run in OT.
  14. Anyone else find it a little odd that there’s barely been an interview, reaction, quote or anything from the Ticats players? Nationally, or even in the Hamilton Spec for that matter. It’s not like “oh everyone’s against the Bombers wah wah” but is it off base to suggest that some of the media outside MB possibly got a little chapped that the ending didn’t fit their preconceived narrative? Or was it just a matter of their club not having players available to the media?
  15. Toronto and Ottawa’s Twitter feeds are just cringingly awful.
  16. Anyone catch Kyle Irving calling into the postgame show last night? What a wonderful send off to his pop.
  17. That’s very kind of you, thanks man
  18. Thanks, I know Uncle “Slug” and my Grandfather would have been thrilled. I got to watch back to back Grey Cups with my Dad, which was pretty special. Dad played and coached HS and Junior ball. He’d take me to games starting when I was around 6 (I’m 34 now) We’d watch with binoculars and he would patiently explain exactly what each position on the field was doing, what they should be doing. How to tell if they’re moving properly, and how to watch a play develop. After watching, or at least talking about every Bomber game for nearly 30 years, all the ups and (mostly) downs of Bomber football, both probably getting too emotionally invested. Both nearly swearing off the team after our respective worst times at the stadium (Him the 87 East final, me many, but the 03 West semi specifically) The 19 GC was special, but so surreal I can barely remember it. This year we’ve had a pretty tough go, including, which I haven’t shared on here and can still barely come to terms with myself the loss of my 3 week old (twin) daughter in September. To be able to see the huge smile on my Dads face while he proudly held his surviving granddaughter on his lap last night, watching his team, his fathers team, our team, win their second cup in a row was an all time great visual. I can’t describe how much this season in general has been a welcome momentary distraction for 3 hours out of every week.
  19. Same here. I’m a notorious nervous pervous during close games.
  20. I panicked, I flipped out, I nearly cried. I have never, ever been so happy to be wrong
  21. Ok time to knock off those swings to Demski.
  22. I really hope I’m wrong but that feels like the game right there.
  23. As much as I hated that second quarter, if Bombers can move the ball I still believe this is their game for the taking.
