Spoke with few bombers about an hour ago and they are not optimistic that Andrew Harris is returning anytime soon. With Bob Irving's comments that Adams could be in the lineup next week, Harris by Labour Day is even doubtful. Brady had a good stat game but obviously he wasn't playing against a competent line with Hamilton missing DL and having to play out of position in the front 6 they didn't even rotate and the Bombers OL were dominant all game. There is no chance Brady is good enough to be a #1 RB and the Bombers should be looking at bringing someone in. There are quite a few good ones available including the PR from other teams.

They have to edit the bug and remove the entry and add 3 again.

Wittman was with Kepley and Curry. CBC loved when Wittman worked with Lancaster and Curry cause their voices all balanced each other. You should read the book on Wittman.

did you hire at TSN1290? lol. Chris Cuthbert if you listen to him is almost the exact same as Rod Black. For all the faults fans whine about Black Cuthbert does the same thing. I enjoy both cause they have a great voice and are enthusiastic about the game. I would say you wouldn't even find another broadcaster that loves the CFL more than Rod Black. Plus he is a Winnipeger that most of his family still live in the city. Peter Mansbridge is another great example. People today would think he is horrible but he is one of the best cause his delivery is gold. Similar to Tom Brokaw and Peter Jennings. They train broadcasters to bring out a certain talent which is why our media is crap. A smile and choice of words is nothing. Its all delivery.

I'm not a fan of diversity hirings cause its just wrong. You hire the best for the position. There are only 2 people within the company that could or should do the job and its her or Duthie. Kate has experience hosting CFL and she is a pure fan of the league and sport. This was not a diversity hiring it was 100% on qualifications. Voice leads and will always lead the way. Wearing masks do not prevent the spread of covid in every environment. You should be wearing masks in various elements but not everywhere should be required. Like at the Blue Bomber game. It wouldn't help.

Its a live wired feed from the actual production offices that use ESPN college athletics and now FOX, TSN, CBS are being listed as they literally do not care its being made available. I have a relative that works for HNIC. I read Scott Moore letter to the staff when he was brought on to Rogers regarding seeking emerging talent and it was regarding 'looking for the next voice' They don't even care what words you say, its the voice. Denis Beyak was fired from FOX in the '90s during his trial with them (look it up) So they had to use Kenny Albert more. They brought in Schulman who is Canadian simply to replace Brent Musburger doing Big 12 Basketball cause of the tone of his voice was perfect for replacing a similar tone Musberger. Bob Cole was hired because of his voice. Read his book. Bill Walton was hired and fired 20 times before he made it to NBC. Only reason why he kept being brought on was because he said he had the voice but had to learn to overcome his speech problem Joe Buck was working with FOX on the D team and they told him his voice wasn't good enough so he took training on his vocals for an entire year. So yes I would consider myself knowledgeable with this situation. If arrogance means being educated then I have one big time ego. They use the exact same production as their hockey production.

According to the Blue Bombers email that I received from management about the matter that 2 issues were the problem. 1) Many staff didn't show up to work 2) New staff that had no knowledge of how to run a concession. They know the problem and promise changes

That has nothing to do with the production of the game. People get on Rod Black is tiring already. As long as you have a voice for tv or radio that is good enough. People bitching about what he says or a mistake here and there is just dumb. Ever watch NFL or MLB or NHL? Mistakes are made all the time. Dennis Beyak sucks cause of his voice and has no personality. Curt Keilback was great cause of his powerful voice. Don Wittman was great cause of his low key voice that spoke fast with the play. And he just looked cool. The new camera was surely a plus

Watching the replay on TSN late at night 2am.... I notice what others were saying across the globe about the production value. Heard many praising the new look so off the start watching the replay I notice the over the field camera being used very well which might be a first for a regular season game. Normally its not used until Grey Cup. Not sure if this will be at every game or once a week during the season. The new TSN graphics is a nice change and refreshes the look, including a new score bug. Grey Cup banner was a bit of a disappointment. Really no ceremony and the banner itself is more like a sign. Not having an individual (11 banners) is not a good look. Having it hanging from the rafters is really the only choice and it could have been done like other NFL or MLB stadiums which they use a harder material so it doesn't blow all over and take a beating.

Blue Bombers screwed up with the tickets from the wallet or the traditional barcode ticket. It was reported here and by the bombers that the barcode was not the ticket. Well they were wrong. Same as always, just show the barcode and you are good

collaros was a bit rusty in his throws but he can throw the ball with the best of them in both NFL and CFL. Just hope he fits our offense and stays healthy.
