I think I've said it before on here, but I'll never forget just how little Evans wanted to be in the pocket holding the ball the final 5-7 minutes of that game. He looked absolutely traumatized by our pressure. All of the DBs played some excellent football over the three game stretch. Can't imagine the headache it must have been playing against a secondary as a unit playing so well across the board. Same goes for our linebackers. Love Maston/Wilson out there, and Bighill saved some of his best football all year for the most important game of the year. I can always hope for a defense this dominant in future seasons, but I don't think I can ever expect one to play any better than this 2019 team did during that playoff run.

The only memory I have of him in that game was crying for a flag when Harris "headbutt" him. I think that was our first drive of the game.

After tonight Harris has finally surpassed Roberts as my all time favourite Bombers RB. What an effort. What an effort all around to all the players and all the coaches these past three games. This had to have been one of the best Championship runs I've ever witnessed. Three absolute beauties against the three best teams in the league, aside from us of course 😉

26 here. Between the Bombers and the Sharks I've been waiting a loooong time for my first ever championship win. Still can't fully process the fact that the wait is finally over!!!

Same here. I've never seen the Bombers win a GC, would love to watch them finally do it with my parents who got me into football in the first place.

I'm noticing a trend. I wonder where the Grey Cup is being played next year...

I'm sure glad the other forum is down so there's no proof I trashed him when we signed him. 😉😄 Did not think he still had this kind of play left in him. Couldn't be happier to have been wrong.

That was already pretty much the case. I don't know if you ever tried to go back, but they only kept a certain number of pages live at any given time. The oldest thread on the main forum (That wasn't stickied) you could go back and read would have been from 2018 most likely.

That'd probably be my pick as well, that win has always stuck with me. As for losses... beyond some of the good ones already posted I've always held on to a loss we had to Montreal in 2011 late in the season. I don't remember the exact details but I believe we had a 1st and goal from the 1. I remember watching the ball cross the line right in front of my eyes on one of the attempts in that sequence only for it to be ruled a goal line stand. Don't know why but that loss has always rubbed me the wrong way. Really felt like Montreal was getting some favourable treatment at the time.

The forum has always seemed like the lowest of priorities for the team/league. If I remember correctly it was actually removed from the navigation of the team site for a while not too long ago. I'm sure they don't care to put any resources towards it and would rather just let it die than continue to support it. I'd bet on the mod team there pressing to get the site back up some of the previous times it's been down is the only reason it's still been alive this long.

Lol, I feel like there's a little revisionist history going on there. I called LDW "trash" one time and you became completely unhinged. For some reason you took the word trash as some sort of attack on his personality/character rather than his football ability and just started devolving into these weak insults any time I posted. You seemed to take it way too seriously and couldn't help but get that last word in every single time. All I had to do was chirp you a little bit and you'd go off on me and end up getting clapped by the mods. It's whatever now though, I don't have a problem with you. I didn't expect you to actually care about the team and thought you'd leave whenever your guy departed the team, but you clearly do care about the CFL and the Bombers so that's pretty cool.
