I have it on good authority that Buck got the sense Mace was going to get offered the job & then decided to turn it down. There was absolutely no scrambling to get CM lol. Initially Buck was considered the favorite, until Mace absolutely crushed his interview, and they decided to go CM's way.

For sure, I think every coordinator has made their share of questionable decisions here and there, but you’d have to think Buck is up next.

Buck would make more sense after he decided not to leave after ‘22 and ‘23, might feel more ready now… plus has ties to the Lions organization.

To be fair, I watch the team less closely/frequently than you guys of course, but I still think he’s an impact player based on what I’ve seen.

Cole is just a beast… especially vs Toronto last time he had a huge game, head scratcher for sure.

You'll find most Rider fans agree with the 2021 WF Duke catch too, it just wasn't lol. I think it's pretty clear he slides onto the white while still making contact with the turf. Unless somehow the CC didn't have that angle, which at this point wouldn't surprise me.
