Hope some of the "other forum" people keep posting here, after the other site is back up.

I am happy to stick around here long-term. To be perfectly honest, whenever I would lurk, the discussion often seemed slow and/or mirrored the discussion of the other forum and so I never felt the need to read what essentially was the same conversation happening over there.

I am always happy to meet and interact with new fans, though.

    there isn't

Hmm, I'll take your word for it but there are a few comments on here that have an elitist leaning. Pretty weird if you ask me, seeing as we are all just a bunch of super fans who want to discuss our team.ย

On another note, while I never posted here before I sure am glad there's a place to spend all my free time talking Bombers. It's the freaking playoffs and we just beat the Stamps in Calgary and are about to do the same to the Riders in Regina in less than a week.

    Life is good.

Is Geoff Gray actually injured? No coverage on that from the beat reporters. I thought Gray was playing well. Plus. Iโ€™d dress two backups at O line

+1. What's up with Gray? He went from starter to being surpassed by a 2019 later round pick as 6th OL? I understand if we want a C as backup, but one can only assume he's legit injured and no one is talking about it.

I actually kind of hate the the coaching award is de facto "most improved" award. If you want to award the best coach, a lot of time it's the guy with the best record.

The reason why I and many think the best coach is often the "most improved" is because if you go from bad to good, it's easy to lay the reason on the coach. It shows the coach was able to get the best out of what showed in the past to be a mediocre roster. If the GM had brought in a bunch of talent in that off-season, you could argue the coach instantly found a way to develop chemistry in a roster with a lot of new guys.

For your best record=best coach perspective, often you can see that a great roster will give you a great record. If that turns out to be true, then it doesn't have much to do with coaching, as is the case for Steinauer.
