That is also bush league...but imo due to the small size of the league and the everyone knows everyone situation that creates...media is hesitant to ask tough questions at uncomfortable times/at all. Likewise with the officiating/command centre.

Duthie just went off on how it would have been a storybook ending if Hamilton had won at home with Massoli coming in after not getting the start and how The Bombers "ruined the ending" in Hamilton. From where I stand the storybook ending was Winnipeg, after not winning for 29 years, put together a beast of a team...won a Cup...kept the team together after a cancelled season...came into a hostile barn and overcame 3 quarters of adversity to win their second Cup in a row in a thrilling overtime. Seriously...every one of these tools can suck a dufflebag full of weiners.

I get where he was coming from but Scianitti should have asked Orlando about it. That's part of championship sports. You can't bail on questions like that just because the coach is sad.

Do we know if that was a coaching decision or a player decision? It just seems so bizarre. Scianitti didn't have the stones to ask Orlando about it.

He really doesn't even try to hide his bias anymore. When he stared at Lawrence wrenching a Bomber O-Lineman's head back by the face mask in a replay and completely ignored it I lost the last infinitesimal amount of respect I had for him.

After watching a big chunk of the pre-game show I had to double check to make sure the Bombers were actually playing today.

Again...in my opinion...other angles showed the ball near the ground but that particular angle, showing the snow being kicked up by the nose dragging on the ground, was unequivocal...beyond any doubt...contrary to Suitor's contention that Williams had his hands under the ball. I couldn't believe he would say something so demonstrably false even by the weakest angle.

I tend to think they were simply unwilling (gutless) to take responsibility for essentially ending the game in the Bomber's favour. Frankly I was pretty surprised at how quickly they made the call and still wonder if they even saw the most obvious angle before making it.

At the exact moment that replay was being broadcast the ref was announcing that the "ruling on the field stands". In my humble opinion that was the only replay that unequivocally showed that the ball hit the turf and they apparently made the call before even seeing it.

Tomorrow night on TSN main, 3, 4 and 5 (Bell satellite) at 6:30 local time is a new episode of Wired. Not sure if it'll be the Grey Cup version but I'm gonna set the PVR just in case. Want to save that one for posterity. In case anyone else is interested. Edit: Ok...only TSN 5 is labelled as a new episode. The others are listed as repeats from June...so my guess is the one on 5 is also from June but I'm gonna record it anyway just in case.
