I was over reading the bash Matt Nichols page. So I made up one that’s not too terrible.

What do you call a QB that was run over on the turf after throwing 2 pick 6’s.... A welcome Matt! (snare drum). Ba Dum, Chhh

You aren't going to last very long around here with comments like this lol.

What? We beat Calgary last year in the last week of the season. We also pushed them to the limit in the game earlier that year too.

Man, I follow football to be entertained, not to be a grouch and depressed. If I wanted to do that I'd watch the news or be a Jets fan. As it stands, the Bombers are in control of their own destiny and are on the bye week. Besides, other teams have had equally lengthy Grey Cup droughts:

    Calgary - 23 years (1948 - 1971)
    Edmonton - 19 years (1956 - 1975)
    Saskatchewan - 56 years (Inception, 1910 - 1966)
    BC - 21 years (1964 - 1985)
    Winnipeg - 28 years (current)
    Toronto - 31 years (1952 - 1983)
    Hamilton - 19 years (1967 - 1986)
    Montreal - 25 years (1977 to 2002)

So yes, our current drought isn't ideal, but it is not completely out of the norm.

Sorry but we need to stop talking about the old school football and talk about modern day football. The bombers streak is an absolute disappointment. There is no reason why this team can’t win. It’s a joke and something need to happen. Fire someone already.

I have to disagree with you. Remember the Riders also beat Calgary - something we have not accomplish in a very long time. So get over it. The Riders have the best defense in the CFL (or at least 2nd best) and their offense does enough to win. So whether you agree whether or not they are a good team they are at the moment a better team then Winnipeg - and that is a fact!

Most logical comment on this forum right now. Someone who gets it.

Lol whatever. It’s nkt advertised as a regional channel. It’s clearly their main channel. It’s not TSN1. Sorry do you work for TSN?

No I don’t work for them but unlike you I know how to google.

    TSN1 September 1, 1984
    August 15, 2003 (HD)[15]
Originally established as the primary, national TSN service since its launch, on August 25, 2014, this feed was renamed TSN1 and became the primary TSN feed for viewers in British ColumbiaAlbertaand Yukon.[4]
On August 15, 2003, TSN launched a high definition simulcast, branded as TSN HD, airing widescreen and high-definition feeds of programming when available. As virtually TSN's entire schedule is now broadcast in HD, the separate branding was dropped from on-air usage in 2013, and the HD feed is now letterboxed for standard definition viewers. All of the other TSN channels below have had HD simulcasts available since their respective launch dates.
TSN2 August 29, 2008 Replaced a part-time "alternate feed" in operation since 1997. For the most part, it has served as an overflow channel for TSN's various sports rights, particularly when all four "regional" feeds are jointly carrying another major event.
    • The primary channel for TSN's Toronto Raptors (and other NBA) regular-season coverage.
    • Carries regional Montreal Canadiensbroadcasts.[3]
    • Normally simulcasts the full ESPN2talk lineup weekday afternoons from 3:00 to 6:00pm ET.
    • Simulcasts CHUM's Overdrive.
TSN3 August 25, 2014 The primary TSN feed for viewers in ManitobaSaskatchewan, the Northwest TerritoriesNunavut and northwestern Ontario.[43]
    • Carries regional Winnipeg Jetsbroadcasts.[40]
    • Simulcasts 12:00 p.m. CT hour of CFRW's Donvito Roundtable(branded as Jets Lunch)
    • Normally airs ESPN's College GameDay.
    • Normally simulcasts the full talk lineup from ESPN's main U.S. channel weekday afternoons from 2:30 to 6:00pm ET.
TSN4 The primary TSN feed for viewers in most of Ontario.
TSN5 The primary TSN feed for viewers in eastern OntarioQuebec, and Atlantic Canada.

Well I guess so now. Who would think they’d switch their main network which was scheduled to show the bombers game and was actively showing it.

The right call is to show the warm up of the other game and advise to switch over to the other channels and join it in progress. It’s two friggen minutes.  Jerks.

TSN1 is NOT the main network. I repeat it is NOT the main network.

Which games are our 3 then Green Sage...and how is your schedule easier...you were lucky to walk away with win vs us..and play us 2 more times in Winnipeg...Ottawa handed your butts to you, and yeah you beat CGY once...but they also beat you, and you have to go there again...highly doubt the same result occurs with a win for you

Edm has beaten you...so..they may just again...and christ you lost to MTL...so maybe they have your number and they are much improved since they beat you....so records against opponents past and future are nice to gauge and form a opinion...but each team matches up differently and any one can beat anyone..heck we throttled Mtl and Toronto yet you lost to them...and we lost to you...what does that say?...nothing really and save for a piss poor officiating call on a pick six should have lost to T.O as well...so to say one teams schedule is tougher than anothers is a opinion only..just like mine is...an opinion

What is your win total over next 8 games and which ones are wins?

Man why are you trying to argue with him. His team is on a 3-0 streak and ours is on a 0-3 streak. Comparing teams wins vs loses are pointless when your team is sinking to the basement.

It's a tough schedule but it's not undoable. Can beat any of the team on that schedule if they take care of business and get the offense going again.

Anything is doable....The riders could win every game they have.....same with Bombers....Montreal could win the grey cup....

But being realistic is different, and lets be honest.....The bombers are lucky to go 0.500 the rest of the season. They by far have the hardest schedule the remaining of the year for all West teams. The below is TOUGH.

    Sask

    Mont

    Edm

    Ott

    Sask

    Cal

    Edm

we are going 5-2 closing out the season..and based on the teams we play to for it to happen..likely end up in second in west..bank on it!

I'll have whatever he is drinking. Going 5-2 to close out the season? Never going to happen! After reviewing the last seven I think a 2-5 or 3-4 (given that the next to last game is with Calgary in the Peg and they will probably not be playing many starters) we could see 3-4 over the last 7. Then we might make the cross over and be one and done in the playoffs.

lol!!!!! Damn son what are you drinking. 5-2 to close out the season? Would you like to bet some money on this?

  9. 4 minutes ago, Booch said:

well duhh...i meant worst case....neither have season series on us yet...i was saying for the cross over

I totally think it is realistic we sweep the riders here...giving us the series...Edmonton...not too sure, but they have a pretty pourous defense and have lost to some bad teams this year themselves...They don't really scare me even with all our warts at the moment..we can improve greatly by the time we play them too

I get what you're trying to say. All I'm saying is as of today, those teams are both ahead of the Bombers and the Bombers need to beat both those teams as well as beat the points diff.
