Slimy Sculpin

As long as Kelly is on the field in any other capacity than STs, we ain't winning anything.

Good stop but I'm not crazy about any defensive lineup that has Kramdi and Kelly on the field at the same time.

So, a question I would ask is..."How does Condell keep getting hired?" The team does have some issues with player talent and player deployment but there is also no doubt in my (fan)mind that Condell (and Younger) are a step behind the majority of the coordinators in the league.

There are a few fans who feel that Condell is doing a less than stellar job with the Bombers' offence and that he should even be fired. I agree with the first and am leaning strongly towards the second. I was baffled by his hiring, especially after his performance in his last two CFL positions in Ottawa and Hamilton. His two seasons in Ottawa (2024, 2025) as indicated by the team's record were disasters. Here's a post from a RedBlack fan: "Condell was so predictable and ineffective. He held the team back for two seasons! There’s nothing on recent tape that justifies him getting hired so quickly. If you’re telling me Condell is the best guy Ottawa could find, then the league has totally failed at developing coaching talent." And, his stint in Hamilton was so stellar that he was dumped mid-season with Milanovitch taking over play calling. From a Ti-cats fan: "The change once we switched to Milanovich was instantly noticeable and a clear indication that Condell should not be calling plays." What were the Bombers' thinking when they hired him?

And that my friends is a very poorly coached team.

Not great playcalling on that series, IMO.

Appreciate Kramdi's play today....looking like an all-star. But WTH are Kramdi and Kelly doing on the field at the same time?

Kramdi > Kelly !!!!!!

O-line seems to be in disarray (kinda late in the season for that, no?) and Collaros has no zip on the ball and can't seem to get it off fast enough (recurring problems this season). Put these together and it's a recipe for disaster.

WTF was Wallace doing on that last sack?

Getting some pressure on Harris. Great! But, the O has to get it together, Collaros in particular, and fast.

Yes, yes he does.

I was reading the article in today's WFP about Chris Streveler's new gig with DAZN for next season. This part caught my eye...."To watch Saturday Night Football in 2027, as well as the Saturday night playoff game in each of the first two rounds of the league’s new playoff format, fans will have to subscribe to DAZN — currently between $24.99 and $34.99 a month in Canada." (I guess I missed the announcement back in May about the deal between the CFL and DAZN.) So, based on further reading, it appears that 21 of 81 regular season games will only be available on DAZN. Then throw in a couple of playoff games. So I (guess)timate that 5 or 6 Bomber games will only be available on DAZN. I hope the CFL tall foreheads know what they're doing but given the upcoming rule and field dimension changes and this DAZN deal, I'm starting to "drift away".

When they showed the replay of Cobb's miss (right throigh his hands) earlier, I just shook my head. Throw in Neild's constant, it seems, drops, I really have to wonder about our coaching and deployment of players.

welcome back

That was a pathetic effort.

If it wasn't obvious before, it is now. Our Canuck receivers are not very good. And, I'm being diplomatic.

I'm not sure whether you're attempting a joke or are serious. Deatrick Nichols, listed at 5'9" and 172lb and 32 years old as a Safety would be similar to a much younger (early in his pro career) Kyries Hebert at 6'1" and 220 lb????? As JBR mentioned, there's no need for Nichols to be on the field.

Wilson used the goal post nicely on the TD

I flabbergasted at the Bombers' play tonight. I gave them no chance. I'm ready for my serving of crow.

Doesn't seem to be in the rule book this year.

you'd sooner have Suitor?

And, relaive to most of our DBs he's not a midget. Can I say that?

Great start to the half. We do have the top ST play in the league. Now let's get the O and D humming.

Neild has been a big, big bust. Kramdi though, IMO, can start in this league. Kelly, IMO, can't and shouldn't on the D. He's a STer. As long as he's installed at S, Bombers aren't going to win much especially today against this Montreal offense. However, I guess we'll see how it plays out tonight.
