I was going to say that Brown is not the answer but it really is Condell who isn't the answer.

Still hoping for a W but between poor play calling and poor execution and discipline, we don't deserve a W.

Kramdi and Kelly offering (next to) nothing on D.

Why the heck weren't they trying to get into fg range on their last series. terrible play calling and clock management. imo.

I detect a little lean towards the Argos by the game officials.

Bombers-Argos ESF Week of Chat
I'm not a fan of Moxey....too small and has lost a step but bear with me on this one. Here's what I think their thinking is on the Moxey move. I've noticed that since Vaval has been handling the corner and return duties, he has played the DB position well but, IMO, his kick returns have fallen off a tad. So, I think that they're hoping that Moxey will step up after being a healthy scratch for quite a while and that Vaval can concentrate on returning kicks. (He'll be a lot fresher. There was a series last game where Vaval broke up a long ball on a second down play and immediately took the punt on the third down, not ideal, IMO.) Of course, if Moxey falters, they can sit him down and re-slot Vaval there. Just my opinion.

Definitely a recipe for success....especially "keep Kelly on the bench". (Is he a relative of O'Shea's?) Oh yeah, Toronto's Kelly, too!😂

2026 Bombers Season
Anyone one know what's up with the "orher" Bomber forum? Haven't been able to visit it the last couple of days. "bad gateway" message.

Bombers-Argos ESF Week of Chat
There are several on this forum, of which I am not one, who know their football Xs and Os. (See a couple of posts just above.) It's unfortunate that none of the Bombers' tall foreheads read these posts. They could use the advice......seriously.

GDT Bombers @ Elks
I remember that 2nd and 1 (might have been a little more than one). At the time, I texted my son that I would put in Perkins and if he didn't get it the first time, have him do it again. The OC has made some strange play calls this season.

2026 Bombers Season
That was another frustrating game to watch. Another good half until the SK kick return and subsequent TD. I had a (bad) gut feeling at that point especially since SK was to start the second half with the ball. And, sure enough the Bombers did it again! I had a quick look at some of the simple team stats and kept it to the West only. So, the Bombers are 5th in points scored per game and 4th in points allowed per game. And, come in 5th in point differential at -39. This is definitely not a winning combination. The Bombers are basically where they should be in the standings. I hate to say it but it might be a "good" thing if they finish last in the West and out of the playoffs. Hopefully, the required (IMO) shakeup will then occur.

Week 19 games
My new mantra is "keep Kelly off the field", at least off the D. Not going to happen but if I repeat it enough just maybe.....

GDT - Stamps at Bombers
I tried to watch Eli, too and it is difficult to assess play whether at the game or on TV but from what I saw, I thought he looked fine with blocking (don't know about calling blocking assignments) and, IMO, his snaps were noticeably better than Elsbury's. (Every split second counts for the QB.) IMO, he is better than Elsbury. Why the coaches went with a rookie American this year over a veteran Canadian, who was trained as a C, is baffling. Could it be some deep-seated grudge that O'Shea has against Eli for refusing to get a covid vaccination back in the day. I'm not clear on this but was Eli suspended over it? Ah, Daniels, the forgotten (invisible) man. I hope he was blocking OK because he certainly isn't being used as a receiver. Yep, I noticed Collaros doing a lot more audibling than normal. And, that's a good thing!

GDT - Stamps at Bombers
There seems to be a difference of opinion regarding the O-line last night. I thought that aside from Bryant, who I think the majority of us feels should retire, the line did OK with pass protection and opened up holes the few times Oliveira got the ball. I felt that they gave Collaros ample time. However, Zach is notoriously slow when it comes to his release and it seems that he's always looking for that long one so it seems like he is always under pressure. Anyway, the Bombers got the W and now it's up to them to cement a playoff position. (Magic number is 1, I think.) P.S. Wallace was really aggressive on the run where Oliveira fumbled and may have caused it. Eli looked fine at C and even Elsbury in a limited role was knocking bodies around. The line is a work in progress but it's moving in the right direction. (This coaching staff has to be hit on the head with a 2x4 to get them to realize that they can make changes that just might be positive.)
