I don't know if people would've been happier with Bernier even though he was the front runner. After he left classified info at his girlfriend's place who had ties to the Hell's Angels why should he get a chance to be our Prime Minister? He resigned in disgrace from cabinet but not his HOC seat which is what an "honourable" person would do. That's a major career ending screw up & that's what should have happened; it should have ended his political career. He didn't deserve a second chance yet 9 years later there he was running for the leadership of the Conservative Party of Canada. After that brain fart how could he ever be trusted to make important decisions or keep classified information regarding Canadian security truly secret? Instead these goofball politicians like Bernier seem to think a short time out of cabinet is enough to atone for their dumb decisions or bad behaviour when it's not. Myself, glad he lost.

No, it was some guy in BC. He worked in construction. Always bragging about how much money he made, how much his RRSP's were worth & how he hated paying taxes yet he supported the NDP which is truly a political oxymoron. If someone told him to shut up, he'd demand to know how much money they made. He was really obnoxious.

Usually being suspended is for doing something bad.

I don't know enough about Scheer to really have an opinion of him or his politics. Althougfh he did say "Radical Islamic Terrorism" & committed our fighter jets back to Afghanistan(?), Syria(?) if elected.

CFL Zone turned into a Riders fan club where they could come over & bash other teams. Migs especially. It got so bad that members from other teams just stopped posting. The admin refused to allow mods to do anything. There was no moderating. The worse the arguments & insults the better he liked it. One member referred to CFL Zone as the Wild West of CFL forums as it was crazy.

Yeah, so sorry you blew your mind. Kinda explains things here. A mind is a terrible thing to waste. You should seek help. The guy had no qb training as he was a linebacker coach. We offered a supplemental service he couldn't provide so I lose no sleep over helping the kids who wanted qb specific training at the time. Besides, the kids kept going to his camp so he never lost any players. As with what Mike & the others did here. they offered a service they felt was better. The market (members) spoke.

This kind of thing happens in business all the time. It's called competition. My son wanted to start a qb school a few years ago & I was working with another coach at a football school that he owned. I knew the players as I was coaching them & contacted them to see if they wanted private qb tutoring which they all did. When the other coach found out he was livid. Thing is, he couldn't provide the qb training my son could & while we did use his clientele they were still free to go to his workouts as well as ours. Was it the ethical thing to do? Probably not but how else were we going to get the word out? Plus it was for the benefit of the young qbs in his school with a service the other coach wasn't capable of providing so I don't feel bad for what I did. Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.

Feel the same way. We have two now but 3 was unsustainable. OB lasted about 2 years longer than I thought it would.

Nate is just disgusting. What a sad shell of a fan he is with so much bitterness. He's so jaded that he's totally bled out. If he cut himself not one ounce of blood would come out.

I think that's a pretty accurate way to describe it. Most, if not all of us have never met Colin in person. He's a facebook friend of mine & seems like a decent chap. We do chat & he's still a Jets & Bombers fan. I have no idea what happened to bring the schism with this site & OB. I do remember some harsh words were said by some here towards the guy when the break occurred especially one or two members here which I won't name as they know who they are. One member in particular who barely posts here anymore. I never had to deal with Colin on any level other than a poster on OB. I think he kind of lost interest in OB & became like an absentee owner thinking things would go on peachy keen forever but they didn't. He has told me he regrets not being more actively involved back then. That he made a mistake. Other than that, I don't know much else. He never really discussed what happened & has kept things to himself. Others probably know more & are free to discuss it. Or not. I just read Mike explanation & he spells it out. Again, Colin never thinking that things would change & failing to adapt. Just like Darwin's Theory of Evolution, if you don't adapt for change, you die & become extinct. Simple as that.
