Glenn had his ups & downs but so what? The guy would give us the best chance to win if Nichols went down. He'd never start over Nichols but would be a great insurance policy if Nichols was injured. Right now, we don't have the guys to win with if Matt was hurt. Same with Darian Durant. If the Als ever released or traded him for a lower draft pick, I'd be happy he'd be here. As a backup to Nichols.

Yes, for the short term if Nichols was out with injury Glenn would be able to play at a high level until Matt came back. Too bad LeFevour can't throw. But I'd give up LeFevour no matter how good he ran short yardage to have a veteran #2 qb who would play well backing up Nichols. Then, as you say, use the #3 position to develop a legit future starter. We need to shake up both backup qb positions as we got very little out of them when Matt was hurt. Davis couldn't even keep his backup spot (which says a lot about Davis after 3 years here in Wpg) & LeFevour won the game in Calgary when the Stamps were struggling with Buckley.

YET... I'd take him in a heartbeat to backup Nichols.

Willy did take the hits & it took a toll. But Willy played with 2 other CFL teams after Winnipeg & he never played well. I don't even know if Drew will be back with the Als next season. It'll be interesting to see what Zach does in Saskatchewan.

Matt Nichols suffered two horrific injuries back to back as an Eskimo yet he has come back better than ever. That takes guts & courage. Another warrior is Mike Reilly who has also battled some serious injuries yet plays hard & has been fearless. Drew Willy & Zach Collaros could never do that.

That's Hall & his defensive schemes. We more than have the talent except at MLB. Again, that's on Hall yet he stays. I see other CFL teams making off season coaching moves & we stand pat which is concerning.

Brandon, Ritchie Hall is a Deadwood Ol' Boys Coach who will always find work. Put him in the same group as a lot of guys who just rotate thru CFL teams as coaches. It's all about who they are buddies with. Not how good they are. How can anyone say our defense didn't have talent?That's just an excuse for failure.

Hurl is O'Shea Jr? He's not even a 5th cousin twice removed when it comes to comparing the talent of O'Shea as a player to Hurl.

The Atlantic time zone Halifax is in is brutal. No matter what time or where a team from Halifax plays it'll be late back home for fans to watch.

Wrestling promotions over the years have always made Asian wrestlers out to be a bit wacked. A lot of racial stereotyping has always gone on.

I have no idea why this team just hangs onto deadwood coaches like Hall expecting them to pull off a miracle when they can't. He has a track record of bad defenses. There won't be any difference next season.

It's brutal. maybe they can invent a storyline where Jason Jordan dies & then comes back to life as the New Red Rooster or something.

Halifax is a famous city because of 2 World Wars but is it a world class city? Are pro leagues lining up to put a team in there? Nope for both. Lack of facilities. Lack of money. Lack of population. They could have had a CFL team in 1978 but people don't seem to care. Same issue 40 years ago as today. That is, no stadium & no real desire to build one. All Halifax & the Maritimes are known for when it comes to pro sports is a slew of failed AHL teams.

And... ratings will continue to fall. Treat fans like they're stupid & they'll go away.
