The 1957 Grey Cup. Hamilton defeated the Bombers 32-7.- Hervey Questions Jennings Work Ethic
Unless he undergoes a total transformation, Jennings will never be an elite qb. If I was a Lions fan, I'd be so frustrated with the guy. He's had 4 seasons to prove himself & really done nothing. Yet he stays as the Lions can't find anyone better plus the fact Wally likes him. Hervey sure doesn't. And what did Jennings do today? Beat a very bad Argos team. Not much really.- Hervey Questions Jennings Work Ethic
Jennings is letting his agent talk for him which is smart. Obvious to me neither Jennings or Lulay will be back next season.- Game Day Thread- Week Seventeen, GAME 15: Winnipeg Blue Bombers @ REDBLACKS October 5th, 2018
TSN doesn't care or they'd have replaced both of them a long time ago. They have no competition. It seems the only money they spend is on the panel & Milt's suits.- TORONTO 3-10 @ BC LIONS 6-7
Didn't even give his team a shot at recovering the kickoff. No excuse for that.- TORONTO 3-10 @ BC LIONS 6-7
Bell Media cutting costs. Our country's media is totally being ****** over from Postmedia, Bell & Rodgers.- TORONTO 3-10 @ BC LIONS 6-7
The Als are better than that crap team from Toronto.- TORONTO 3-10 @ BC LIONS 6-7
How much better would they be with Ricky Ray?? A playoff contender perhaps? Maybe at 6 wins.- TORONTO 3-10 @ BC LIONS 6-7
It's all about intimidation, I guess but it didn't help them last night.- TORONTO 3-10 @ BC LIONS 6-7

He's called a Coach Killer. Has all the tools physically but not all there upstairs.- TORONTO 3-10 @ BC LIONS 6-7
Now Suitor droning on about Hervey criticizing Jennings. I'm sure this will go on for the entire game. Suitor loves Jennings & we know that he'll go out of his way to pump his tires today.- Blue Bomber Photos
No, that was my mistake. I knew he played RT but for some reason I forgot. Now let me say without a shadow of a doubt that Bill Frank was the best Blue Bomber Left Tackle of all time. Thanks for picking up that slip. He was a monster among men in the era when he played at 6'7 & 280 lbs. Most offensive tackles in the 60's & early 70's were 6'1 - 6'4 & 240 - 250 lbs.- Hervey Questions Jennings Work Ethic
Boom Goes The Dynamite!!Not a good idea for a player's agent to call out his GM. Just go out & prove the man wrong. Action speaks louder than words.- TORONTO 3-10 @ BC LIONS 6-7
What Jennings will show up today? If it's the Dr Jekyll Jennings they'll win. If it's the Mr Hyde Jennings they'll lose. Ed Hervey has served him notice in the media that he better pick his game big time. He won't have Wally around after November to protect him & wrap him in a protective blanket if he fails.- Game Day Thread- Week Seventeen, GAME 15: Winnipeg Blue Bombers @ REDBLACKS October 5th, 2018
Well, for one Osh is older & more mature. He may be emotionally involved in the game still on the sidelines but he's not physically involved so that would ratchet a lot of his emotional reactions down more than a few notches. Now, he's a coach & if he loses it on the sidelines constantly then so will his players so he needs to keep his composure. Look at all the trouble the Esks players had with penalties when Jason Maas would go off on some inanimate object like his headset or Gatorade container when he threw his tantrums. The Esks are still dealing with that as a team because Maas ingrained it in their team culture. It was okay for him to go off & so too then his players as well. Just because Maas said he's a changed man doesn't mean his team will buy into being disciplined right away. It'll take time. This is what happens when assistant coaches who aren't ready are hired as head coaches based on a couple of seasons of success. They haven't totally figured it out yet. It takes a few years of being in charge to finally get it. Some do & some don't. - Blue Bomber Photos
