They'd be dead last in the West totally out of the race if the injuries to the receiving corps had happened a few weeks earlier. They might be 8-8 or 7-9 right now. That's why they're lucky in that respect. They're in the playoffs.

Stamps are lucky these injuries to their receiving corps didn't happen a month earlier or they'd be out of the playoffs & sinking fast in the standings. The window to be championship closes quickly. they had their chance & blew it. Only a miracle will see them win the West & Grey Cup.

It would have a better chance to work if it was at Bell MTS Place. They'll be dead meat in Fort Garry.

He'll be a free agent come February.

Mitchell will make more money in the CFL than he would in the AAFL. I'd think he's looking at $600,000 a year two year deal under a new CBA if he comes back.

Yes. last year of his contract. There has been talk a number of NFL teams want to bring him in for a look/see this off season. I expect he'll conduct some workouts for some NFL teams. However, I suspect his NFL career will be very similar to his HC Dave Dickenson's. Go on the NFL tour as an extra TC arm or practice player.

No, disagree. The Republicans were nothing like this 50 years ago. They were pro business with low taxes, like now. But their congressmen & senators for the most part were decent individuals.
-
BLM may not be as good as we thought. He isn't exactly putting the team on his shoulders, is he? For a guy in the running for the MVP award Mitchell looked like nothing close to it. And their secondary was awful all game long. Collaros wasn't hurried much either.

I don't think they'd do well out at the FT Garry campus. There's too much hockey now.

Stamps rapidly losing their mojo. They don't look good at all in the second quarter.

You sure don't waste any time.
-
Fraser, that's not Charleston Hughes. It is another player from decades ago.
-
Carter wastes time running around in the end zone. When asked why, Carter mumbles about putting time on the clock. #reefermadness

Is there a little bit of friction with Dunigan & Barker today? After all, Dunigan replaced Barker as HC & GM in Calgary in 2004. I just sensed a bit of it going on at halftime here on the panel.

For his sake, yes. -
Skunk always reacts by laughing when he is criticized which means one thing. He is nothing but a troll & is only here to be a troll.
-
Some individually great players but these are two brutal teams.

Yes, I've certainly had my ups & downs dealing with a lack of self confidence in my life which from what I've read is a by product of children of alcoholics. We all deal with things differently. Anyway, I have no sympathy for Hughes. I just hope it isn't a peek into what he's like away from football. -
Trestman doesn't like Franklin from everything I've read. He's not a Trestman guy, apparently. But MBT is so bad he was forced to play Franklin again. So, the question is.. Is Franklin a flash in the pan or is it the system he plays under?
-
Especially if we re-sign him.
-
You look a bit peaked. I'd call in sick as you don't look well.
-
He was shell shocked. Did you see his facial expression on the play he was sacked & lost his helmet? He was done. How many times did we see that expression with Drew Willy?

That happened to my father in the 1960's. A cop noticed him driving erratically but never pulled him over. They followed him home & he narrowly missed our fence pulling into the driveway. Cops gets out & tells my father if he had hit the fence he'd have been charged with drunk driving. He never gave him a ticket even though he was inebriated. Just one more day in the life of my late father. I loved him so much but he was so lucky with his driving over the years. Never had an accident or a ticket. But what heartbreak our family suffered with him because of his alcoholism. My mother was the strongest person I have known. She kept her marriage & our family together through all that chaos. It also is hard to cope when you're a 10 year old & you realize the man you admire the most in life is an alcoholic & is different from all the dads your friends have. Just makes me sad thinking about it. -
The other thing is Reilly is supposed to be tough & he is. But he doesn't like getting hit & he'll rush his throws or make bad decisions if he's constantly being hit.,
