I expected the CFL to substantially raise the salary cap to account for the new qb salaries as well as more $$$ for everyone else & yet it doesn't seem like that will happen. Instead we get a cap on coaches, scouting & management. We get teams only using one helmet this season instead of two.

Next season it's going to be all about winning the Democratic Presidential Nomination as she resigned as Secretary Of State. So, she won't be battling world hunger & climate change as she did in the past. I'm hoping a little less preachy & a lot more political intrigue.

I doubt if frosty has ever seen him play. The only guy I know who always wants to talk about the Jets on chat when the Bombers are playing when no one wants to. Like who gives a **** about the Jets when the Bombers are playing?

The players didn't demand the Lions & the Stamps pay the amounts of $$$ they did for Reilly & BLM? That was the decision of both clubs which was totally irresponsible. if they didn't have the money then they both teams never should have done that. Now they've set new heights for paying qbs while other players see a fraction of that & of course want more. I don't begrudge the players wanting more as they put their bodies & long term health at risk. I wouldn't be so quick to blame the players. The Stamps because of that contract have lost a lot of players including Chris Matthews. Stamps loss is our gain.

I'm glad Madam Secretary has been renewed as Elizabeth McCord is now running for President which should inject some intruiging plot lines into the series. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out. I'd expect she'll win the Presidency & the series will go out with her taking The Oath Of Office.

I've been out of coaching since 2010 but I still have friends that do. They tell me about practices with no pads or helmets. How kids play games running straight up & get hurt because they don't know enough about lowering their shoulder to protect themselves. Then some quit because they're scared. It used to be practices were tougher than games but apparently not anymore. And that Hawk tackling isn't recognized by Football Canada as being safe so it's not taught. They teach similar tackling without the head but with a different technique. Kids are being taught enough of the proper fundamentals. I'm glad I'm not involved anymore.

That's the way a lot of guys are. They have so so pro careers & become great coaches. Not many super star players have success as coaches.
