I've seen the guy let in more soft goals than a lot of other starting goalies. Like I said, there are other issues not just goaltending.

He hasn't carried the team. Not this past season. He's not the only problem with this team but he's part of it.

Gotta say I watched a bit of Rogue One yesterday & enjoyed it. I remember sitting in the theatre in 2016 & at one point thinking to myself that it was a very good movie.

It starts with championship goaltending & goes out from there. When the game is on the line how many of us have faith that Hellebuyck will make THAT save to preserve a win? I'm willing to say Biddington would have made the save with 15 seconds left on Thursday that Hellebuyck didn't. If fans don't have that confidence in our goaltending then what do his teammates think & how do they react in pressure situations?

It would be his replacement that scares me.

Well, if they lose this series I'm sure Maurice is done. I'm just worried who'd they replace him with. I mentioned just how bad Glen Gulutzan was in Calgary before Peters. There are lots of cheap HC options out there available for Cheveldayoff to hire. Assistants who feel they're ready to be a HC. Or guys out there with a year or 2 of HC experience who have been fired once before. Most will fail as they aren't capable of being successful NHL head coaches. I think fans have to be careful for what they wish for.

They always used him as a Neandertal type of wrestler. Or just a weird guy tied to a weird family. I'd like to have seen what he could have done in a different role.

He played less than one full season in 1987 as he suffered a broken neck mid season. He retired the following season. Arakgi had 43 catches for 534 yards & 2 touchdowns for the Bombers.

Generalizing like that, yes. But if people don't think there aren't racists & white supremacists in the Liberals & NDP then they are naïve. I vote Conservative & always have since I turned 18. This decision makes as much sense as having two starting qbs alternating every series.
