You've missed my point entirely. My point is that the era we're in is not the Golden Days for qbs. We have 3 or 4 guys who are legit starters & the rest are replaceable or will soo be replaced. We know Matt Nichols isn't Reilly or BLM. We also know Bethel-Thompson & Pipkin aren't as good as Matt Nichols. Matt's good enough to win a Grey Cup with his surrounding cast. Tom Burgess won a Grey Cup for us & Nichols is very similar.

How would you feel to be the Als or the Argos with those train wreck qbs at the controls? Will Fajardo soar with the Eagles or crash to the ground & be rolling around with the worms?

What do you thinks Eskimo fans are thinking today seeing Harris move the team up & down the field between the 15 yard lines & his offense scores no TDs but 7 FGs? Or Maas kicking a FG on first down??? Yeah Matty & the offense didn't play well but I'd rather be us than Edmonton.

Funny though how Nichols couldn't get his offense into the end zone for a touchdown. We won & here we are.

I thought that failed short yardage play with the Fly Sweep killed all of our momentum. Offensively, we were never the same after that.

I'll be the first to admit our offense needs work & has to be better. Nichols has to be much better. LaPo is way too conservative & needs to be called out on that. That should be MOS telling him to keep the pedal to the metal all game & not let up after we get a lead like he always does.

Harris also lost another game where he had huge numbers except in the win column.

Injuries are part of the game as well. Guys still go for the head. We saw that with Usher tonight. We saw that with Lawrence two weeks ago. Qbs don't unnecessarily expose themselves to headshots. They are told to slide.

Not as many as Harris in the final 2 minutes. He missed some wide open guys.

Oh & if he doesn't he gets concussed. Stop with the quitting bullshit. He needs to protect himself.

LaPo turtled. How many times have we seen what we saw tonight. We'll sit on a lead until we lose it.

I won't dispute that. Not every win is going to be dominant. I'd rather win ugly than lose pretty. Think if you're an Esks fan you're happy with the offense or Maas tonite?

At the end of the season wins aren't quantified as pretty wins or ugly wins - just wins. Our offense should improve as the season goes on.

And Harris played his typical game. Throws for almost 400 yards, no TDs & loses. How many times have we seen that? Did Nichols play well? No. How much of that was on LaPo playing vanilla with the lead? Looking at some of the starters in the league, I'll still take Nichols.
