I saw that & cringed. The dozen Argo fans watching at home would not be happy. Probably half of them won't be at BMO Field next game. Then we hear Corey Chamblin with his mic on say his team is playing icky at 41-0. Wow.

To me, you don't do it. If after 6 years O'Shea loses in the playoffs how can you bring him back? For another 3 years? You know he won't sign for a lesser term. That is playing with fire with the fanbase.

I can't discuss this anymore this evening. It's time to let it go.

And what will the O'Shea supporters say if he brings back his entire coaching staff next year after signing a brand new 3 year deal? Cuz I think that is what will happen.

It's more than a better qb & OC. We aren't just one player away.

Yes, we might hire the next Jeff Reinbold as Head Coach & that's the risk but we might also hire the next Bud Grant. It's up to Kyle Walters to get it right when he does.

I think you're overly optimistic. Would you sign MOS to a 3 year deal with the risk he may never win a championship in nearly a decade & have only 1 playoff win go show for? That's a huge risk. The only reason Walters does that is because they are friends & he is looking after his good buddy, After 9 years if there are no results then everyone will get fired. How do you sell another 3 years to the Bomber base? That will be a tough one.

Head Coach Ray Jauch couldn't get the Bombers into the Grey Cup despite having a great team & 3 second place finishes in a row with 10-6, 11-5 & 11-5 records in 1980, 81 & 82. He left. Within TWO SEASONS we won the 1984 Grey Cup with HC Cal Murphy. You don't sit still after 5 seasons. Something's gotta give.

Will you please, please, please stop with this Trinity stuff like they're some kind of religious deities? O'Shea is just over .500 as a HC & he's won no championships. Only has won 1 playoff game. We're as close to winning a Grey cup as we were in 2016. O'Shea is replaceable. He's had his chance.

All things being equal, it comes down to LaPo's offense & playcalling. Put Nichols in a Tommy Condell offense with those Ti Cat receivers & he easily has a thousand more yards passing. Same with Streveler. He'd actually get some qb coaching & probably would be a lot better. Our qbs are stuck in a slow, ponderous & unimaginative offense with an OC who sucks the life out of every player.

No, that doesn't count because the Streveler supporters said he was better than Nichols so there's no free passes for him. You can't say on one hand Streveler is better & we'll play better with him starting & then when things crash down it's because he has little experience. Can't have it both ways.

I'll agree with you on the coaching. It has been brutal. We never talked much about deficiencies before the Nichols injury. We were definite Grey Cup favourites.

Sorry but from what I've seen I'll take Nichols back in a heartbeat.
