It's sad that Andy Reid's time he spent away from his family as an NFL HC caused such strife in his home. Dad being away so much coaching football & missing special occasions, family birthdays, Christmas or even his 2 sons high school games came at such a cost. They look around & see other Dads in the stands but theirs isn't as he's too busy with his team's players & it's tough. I can relate as my father was a small business owner & an alcoholic. He was also was never around & would be gone for days at a time & my Mother & I would not know where he was or if he was even alive. Was he lying dead somewhere?? It wasn't uncommon for him to go missing from Thursday at noon to when he came home for lunch to Saturday night or Sunday morning. When he was around then my parents argued about the times he wasn't. I had a hard time trusting others because I could never trust that my father would keep his word he'd be home that night or that we'd be going on that fishing trip the next Saturday when I was a kid. You get ****** up when you can't trust your father as a 10 year old. Or seeing your Mother crying because she thinks her husband is dead or we have no money for food because Dad is drinking it all away & he's the only bread winner in the family. It affects you the rest of your life. So, I have sympathy for Britt Reid but he is an adult now & hurt 2 innocent little kids. He should go to jail.

What's sad is that Britt Reid has been given many chances to change his ways in the past but hasn't been able to do so. Many more chances than a lot of people with drug & alcohol issues get. Like going from a drug addict to Linebackers Coach on the Chiefs because of who his father is. Continues to make poor choices in life like mixing Adderall, alcohol & getting behind the wheel injuring two kids. I don't think being the son of Andy Reid will get him out of this. Well, if I don't watch it certainly won't make or break that series.

Interesting observations. Yeah, the Canadian Rule would be gone but I think more than a few could make the rosters of any team. The field would be smaller as American stadiums can't fit a Canadian field. But some of the CFL rules could be incorporated. That is, if a new league is ever formed. With Covid, I think anything is possible especially the longer it lasts.

What did I miss here? I just don't like Queen Latifah.

Queen Latifah stars as The Equalizer on CBS. Is this a joke? Is this a comedy? I watched the original Equalizer back in the 80's & liked it a lot. But how can anyone take this show seriously with Queen Latifah as the lead character? I'm out before it even starts. What terrible casting.

Devils Advocate: I wonder if the CFL cash strapped as it is would try to convince the XFL to merge & form one fall league with rules from both leagues coming into play. Would you rather that happen than the CFL folding?

Vaccination Passports (proof) will do the trick. You want to travel by air? You'll ned to show proof of vaccination. Want to go to the States by air or vehicle? Show proof. Stay in a hotel? Show proof. Want a plumber or electrician to fix something in your home? Show proof. That will get the asshat anti vaxxers motivated to get their shots. Anti maskers are assholes.

I saw a Jet team that out hustled & especially outskated the Flames. They were flying & Calgary looked two steps behind. The Flames really couldn't keep up. I find the Flames wingers, especially Monahan & Gaudreau play soft at times. Lots of talent between those 2 but not willing to get their noses bloody when they have to. Gaudreau is piling up the points though but the Flames are still losing.

I just hope the team does right by Bighill until the day he retires. That in the future he isn't cut because he's owed a performance bonus. Especially after what he did for the team. That wouldn't have been easy financially for his family. I really hope the team & management appreciates it.

Bowman is old. Like it's way past the time to pack it in. You gotta wonder what Hufnagel thinks about all this. He knows all these guys are way past it as far as better days performing is concerned.

I don't understand why the CFL can't find investors or major sponsors to put money into the league to get them back on the field. I mean, if the Rock can put up $20 million of his own money for a sketchy league like the XFL then why can't someone or some companies invest in our league?
