No,. it's not normal for a GM to go silent for half a year but c'mon. There's excuses & then there's apologists like this. Walters has mailed it in since he signed his now expiring contract. In a Grey Cup hosting year which makes it even worse.

You & I don't agree on much but I agree with this. I get the feeling at this point in his life, Kyle Walters would be very happy taking an AD job with a U Sport university in Southern Ontario.

I'd put Edmonton in that group. The stadium is old but it's still good enough to host a Grey Cup. The problem are the Eastern stadiums. They're too small. It's hard to believe that a city like Hamilton (with all their history & tradition) only has a stadium that holds 24000. Ottawa 22000, Montreal 23000 & then there's *^%$#> Toronto.

We have the same problem on the C Trains in Calgary. Mostly at the platforms at the C Train stations where assaults, murders, robberies & drug deals go down. The problem is the catch & release justice system we have now. Politicians keep talking about public safety but never do anything.

If I was building a defense I'd start with an aggressive front four. Everything else just falls into place. Oh gawd, not Ford. We don't need a glorified running back as a qb. Ford's brutal. Very few fans complained about MIke Riley. He was pure gold winning two Grey Cups in 3 years. Always smiling, great to deal with as fans or with the media. Total opposite of his father, Bud who was Head Coach from 1974-77.
