It's the way this season unfolded. It was avoidable. I can take a losing season if we at least ried to improve this past off season. Instead we didn't do anything oher than signing Vaughters. That is inexcusable when we are a Grey Cup contending team & hosting the Grey Cup. For all the good Walters does now, he might as well live full time in Florida with McManus.

Which, if nothing changes they will feel it next season.

Well, Wade can clean house if he wants as everyone's contracts are up so it won't affect the salary cap for coaches & admin. If he doesn't do something this year then he never will.

We saw the same arrogance from Bo Levi when he was a rookie starter with the Stamps. He thought the gravy train would go on forever as well. Then he ssuffered a couple of back to back GC losses to inferior teams. Then came the arm & shoulder injuries. Finally being told by Dave Dickenson that he was no longer wanted & was replaced by an inferior Jake Maier. As I said, football has away of humbling these guys the longer they play. The same thing will happen to Alexander at some point.

Just before Alexander knelt, he did the bye bye wave. I get that he's excited. I mean if it was Dru Brown, he's the exact opposite. He'd have smoked a doobie on the sidelines, looked bored & then fell asleep between plays. Compared to Brown, I like that Alexander is excited as his teammates fed off that but for crissakes tone it down...

Kid needs to be put in his place & it'll happen. Alexander thinks his winning streak will go on forever & he's some kind of Superman. One thing about football, MIke. As we know, it has a way of humbling everyone. His time will come.

At the same time, why would anyone stick around here as a young & promiusing players when they get continually passed over by washed up veterans like Thomas. Or when Osh plays games with the roster like dressing almost 10 linebackers for today's game? Sad part is if we fluke a win today, he'll get a new contract & what we see will continue until the wheels finally fall off.

Fans in calgaary have no idea juSt how much a new stadium can enhance the football experience. We don't have any form of pro baseball. Only a small elite can afford Flames season tickets.
